Summer's last name
People on the BC thread on the O.C. board where talking about this. Summer's last name is Roberts.. but how do we know this? Was it ever mentioned on the show?
It says Roberts is her last name on the official O.C. site but there has got to be an eppie in which someone actually said her last name or at least her father's name. Anyone? I've been thinking about this for awhile now but can't figure it out. Technically it's probably on the name tag she wears on the hospital in episode 8, when Marissa is in the hospital and Ryan, Seth and Summer are coming to rescue her, but that's all I can think of. Any other ideas? |

I'm sure it does say it on her name tag, but it's sooooo tiny that you can't actually read what it said.
I also wonder where it was mentioned. I saw it on imdb today. Though I suppose they have to give her some last name otherwise it would look weird in the credits. __________________

 Good to see you here! I agree, I that's probably the reason all websites list that as her last name... but it's still weird no one ever mentioned it.I mean, they mention the last names of the other characters all the time. And when Summer meet the Nana, she just says 'I'm Summer'. Didn't that girl learn to say her last name too.  |

I'd love to post on O.C. board more, but I'm only on ep 16 and don't want any spoilers.
I did a search on the net but can't find a single thing about where it mentions her name. Maybe if there's somewhere you can read the transcripts though... __________________

yeah its roberts, i don't think they've ever mentioned it in an eppie tho. Maybe next season.

I don't think it's ever been mentioned yet they give her a last name anyway. Maybe in season 2 they'll bring it up
