I don’t think I’ve ever seen a character that gets worse as the show goes on, almost every show I’ve watched they have had character growth especially for the main characters this was one where the character went backwards and became a horrible person

thought Rory was okay again by the end of season 7 but then the revival happened

I think the only other show I can really think of where one of the main characters regressed is Blair on Gossip Girl (like actual character assassination)

she had really good character growth throughout the show and then the writers had a brain aneurysm in the last season
