I LOVE this movie! He was nominated for an Oscar for this film. Great job (as usual)! The whole thing was so well done.

I loved this movie because it had all the elements of a great film.

It made me laugh, cry, hate, love, and appreciate.

This movie is the most beautiful film I've ever seen! Johnny, Kate, Freddie, and the rest of the cast did such a great job. The director should be proud for casting these actors!!!!

They do! It's a great movie and everyone was great in it. I am very impressed by the children they chose, especially Freddie.

i rewatched it last again but with the commentary on and they mention that James was asexual yet later on in the commentary they said the James about brought a enagement ring and was going to propose to but she died to soon.

Just by reading that sentence can you see why I'm confused.

That is confusing, but I guess they portrayed him in the non-asexual manner for the movie.

finally watched it yesterday.. i actually got the asexual vibe from the movie like his love for sylvia seem very friendship like and not really romantic/sexual
if he was going to propose.. i can see it as just being practical.. he wants to take care of her and the kids

^^ That makes sense.

When I watched the movie for the first time, I didn't feel like he loved his wife, that he was more so with her out of obligation.
