Recently, we have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

It's a very hard decision to make to close a board and we'd just really appreciate any opinions out there.

Aw. as a former moderator of this board, I totally understand your decision, even back then it was really hard to keep the conversation going no matter how many projects this man does or how amazing he is.

I'm sure you'll make the right decision, even if it is closing the board.

Aww, I am sad to see this but, yes, I do think it's time unfortunately. I loved this board and discussing Johnny's projects so I look forward to doing that at the Celebs board from now on

I wish I had posted here more often. It's very sad to see the board go.

Completely butting in here, but I noticed it looks like the board isn't very far away from celebrating 10 years here at (the oldest thread started on February 26th 2004) Perhaps you would consider keeping the board around until after the anniversary? Maybe closing it March 2nd? Giving time for people to celebrate?

Wow. Damn, you guys are considering to do that. That's so sad but same time understandable because you guys obviously can't keep up with this board everyday if nobody else does much around here. So I will understand when you guys make the right decision when that day comes. It's sad to see this board go but at least it will go out on good note.

There's no way of knowing when a graphic will be added but one has been made
