LH are quite under appreciated most of the time, generally speaking. They don't get as much love as Naley or the main triangle

or as much as the Brooke/Peyton friendship which was far superior

I guess people like drama. And LH usually never had much of it. Brooke and Peyton were the two sides of the main triangle, so there were fights and tears and all that. Those kind of ships are more popular than the low-key, realistic ones.

I loved that LH never had much drama it was refreshing

Lucas and Haley's real only drama was in the first season when Lucas was in that car accident and they had just had a fight and left mad with each other. That's what tore Haley up inside and why she couldn't see him. And the story about Lucas' HCM and him not coming clean about it and playing basketball...Haley fought for him so it would save his life and even lied for him when Lucas took the money out of the cafe and Haley covered for him. They've always forgiven each other, that's what I love about them. Their friendship is stronger than any argument.

Other than the little arguments there which you mentioned, they never had any drama. It was nice to see because it's usually more relatable for some people who don't have lives as dramatic as most fictional characters

Another thing I like about the friendship is that there was no relationship which is the direction to shows get into

StarryEyedSandy 04-01-2013 09:06 AM

If LH got involved romantically, it would have tainted their friendship very, VERY deeply. As if the core 5 inter-relationships aren't that screwed enough

the Nathan and Peyton innocent kiss that Lucas saw almost ruined things enough and that wasn't meant with any harm.

Lucas and Haley needed each other as friends and friends only. When things got hard, they always went each other.
