Left Behind



Left Behind is a 2014 film adaption of the popular novels by the same. It is currently in pre-production stage and
stars Nicolas Cage, Chad Michael Murray and Ashley Tisdale. The movie is being directed by legendary stuntman and stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong.

The Left Behind reboot will focus on the hours immediately following the rapture. It will not cover everything that the first book includes, but will be more specifically concentrated on those first few hours and the chaos of the world in the wake of millions of people vanishing with no explanation. The film, and it’s 2001 original, are based on a sixteen novel long series of Christian-influenced epics written by Tim LaHay and Jerry P. Jenkins. With all of the Apocalypse legends being thrown around at this time, Left Behind could prove to be very enticing for fans of Nostradamus and Mayans alike. The expanded plot of the book series deals heavily with faith after the Rapture as well as the rise of the Anti-Christ, who leads a nefarious global community. It is unclear how many books or how much of the collective plot will be featured, though it is likely safe to assume that the film will tackle the first book. The producers decided to do a new version of Left Behind for a number of reasons. One reason is it has been eight years since LEFT BEHIND: WORLD AT WAR was released, so many of the actors involved in that project look different/older and have moved on to other things, which would make it difficult to continue from where WORLD AT WAR left off. Another reason is that the producers saw an opportunity to make a film that with a bigger budget, celebrity actors, and a theatrical release will help introduce Left Behind to even more people around the world.

Cameron 'Buck' Williams (Chad Michael Murray)
Buck is a celebrated news reporter who, after being left behind following the Rapture,
becomes one of the founding members of the Tribulation Force.

Chloe Steele (Ashley Tisdale)
Chloe Steele is Rayford Steele's daughter who was a Junior at Stanford University
in Stanford, California until the disappearance of millions of people world-wide.

Rayford Steele (Nicholas Cage)
Rayford Steele is the protagonist in the Left Behind series. He is the leader of the group
known as the Tribulation Force, and is the most elaborated character in the series.

Shooting begins on August 5th in Baton Rouge

I'm pretty sure he's not going to shave his head again I think him having some normal length hair (like he does right now in those fan pictures we got from the OPC set) would suit Buck perfectly.

we can really identify each year by Chad's hair too, he loves to change it up

Totally. I know some guys who keep the same hair for like... DECADES basically. Chad just loves to experiment and he usually doesn't care whether the outcome is good or bad. And I'd take that over boring anyday
