June 16th 2010: Chad has a role in the Lifetime Movie Network's original movie, Lies in Plain Sight.

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 16, 2010) - Academy Award(R)-nominated actress Rosie Perez (Fearless, Do the Right Thing, Pineapple Express), ALMA Award winner Benito Martinez (The Shield, Saving Grace), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Christoph Sanders (Ghost Whisperer), Martha Higareda (Street Kings) and Yul Vasquez (The A-Team) are set to star in the Lifetime Movie Network Original Movie Lies in Plain Sight (wt). The film, which starts production this month in Los Angeles, is scheduled to premiere in the fall on Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime's sister network.

Lies in Plain Sight tells the story of Ava and her blind cousin Sofia (Higareda), who were inseparable as children, with Ava the loyal companion who helped Sofia through her tough adolescent years. When Ava suddenly commits suicide, Sofia rushes home to her father Hector (Martinez) and Ava's parents Marisol (Perez) and Rafael (Vasquez) to find answers. But as she delves into Ava's life, questioning her past boyfriends Ethan (Murray) and Christian (Sanders), the more Sofia realizes that their childhood was actually filled with dark disturbing secrets.

July 26th, 2010: Chad has a role in ABC Family's original movie, Ex-Mas Carol. A press release has not been released yet but it has been confirmed by Chad's soon to be co-star, Ashley Benson (here). Filming started in August 2010 and the movie will air December 12th, 2010 on ABC Family.

September 27th, 2010: Chad has snagged a leading role in Gold Circle Film's new horror film, The Haunting in Georgia. Information can be found here.

Chad has ~~two~~ three movie roles coming up. The first is "Lies In Plain Sight", a Lifetime Movie Network production, which has wrapped. The other is "Ex-Mas Carol", an ABC Family production, that has also wrapped. The third is "The Haunting of Georgia", a horror film produced by Gold Circle Films, that has just been announced.

According to some sources close to the show, the two are very likely to return for at least one episode.

Last week we spoke to our source for Murray, and they stated there have been no talks started as of yet. And also, Chad will start filming on his movie in a few weeks.

Fans will just have to wait, watch, and see.

I have never watched it but I know of several people that like it. This would be the American adaptation, right? The original is a UK show and it's from Russel T. Davies, who's also the creator of the original QAF, which makes me, you know, squee a little

I think it would be interesting to see Chad on this show. I'd love to see him play a CIA agent. If he's really eyeing this role, I hope he gets it.
