But you know what's funnier? I recently read a transcript of that appearance (me, obsessed? never!) and it was remarkably humourous! As in, actually entertaining! Shocking. I guess the extended pauses and body language were more telling than the dialogue itself. *shrug*

Oh isnt it excrutiating to watch an interview where both the interview subject and the interviewer are struggling? No matter how funny the dialogue, sometimes guests just suck!

Recently Viggo Mortensen was on Letterman, and the whole thing was like pulling teeth, he's obviously quite a private person, and it was the most painful 3 minutes of my life. Me? Exaggerate? Surely you jest.

.....And dont call me shirley....

Edited because apparently I suck too.

But somehow, magically, the 'edited' thingy didn't show up. I think that must mean you're special, right?

I think I saw Viggo on Letterman. I think. He was wearing a dashing grey suit? I didn't find it all that bad, but it could be because I expected it to be painful. Or maybe it's because Viggo himself was a little funnier and more forthcoming than I'm used to seeing him.

I love it when you have a comedian on. Never fails to entertain. Well, so long as they're on Conan or Kilborn. Leno and Letterman are a bit, um, stale.

Ohhh Matt Damon on Rove--That was a very cool interview, plus Elmo, all tree times, was hilarious.

Ben Affleck on Jon Stewart was pretty funny, given that I dont actually like Ben Affleck!

David Boreanaz on MadTV was good, he played 'himself' while Michael McDonald attempted to stalk him.

Kevin Smith, doing absolutely anything, on any show, ever. Including his recent appearance on Leno.

I know this is from a while ago, but I loved Harrison Ford on Stewart.

The opeing line was great when Jon said, "This show is beneath you." lol

I remember Margaret Cho on Letterman. She's the funniest ever. I love her to death.
