Nessa is my second favorite character behind Sam of course! She is so fiesty and I just love her accent!

Anyone else think she might be Big Ed's daughter?

Nessa did an eppy where she was seemingly bad and she rocked in that one. I wonder what the whole story is with her dad. Maybe they will fill us in one day. I think he is still out there somewhere. This show is full of mystery. I love that.

She defintely is an interesting character and I love her on this show. I want to find out what happened to her dad. That could be a very interesting storyline for her.

It totally agree... that would be an interesting story line, and I definately want a show soon centered around her, so that would work!!!

Nothing gets past the watchful eyes of the “Ice Queen,” also known as pit boss Nessa Holt, played by British actress Marsha Thomason on NBC’s new series “Las Vegas.”

Beginning her acting career at age 12 when she joined the Oldham Theatre Workshop, Thomason turned a hobby into a successful acting career, landing a procession of roles in a number of British television series including the BBC’s “Burn It,” “Brazen Hussies” with Julie Walters, “Pie in the Sky” and “Playing the field.” She also starred in ITV’s popular series “Where the Heart Is,” as well as the network’s “Prime Suspect 5,” alongside Helen Mirren. Thomason went on to make her professional stage debut at London’s renowned Royal Court Theatre as the lead in “Breath Boom.”

Making her American feature film debut starring alongside Martin Lawrence in “Black Night,” Thomason’s other credits include “Long Time Dead” and the independent film “Pure,” opposite Keira Knightley. Her upcoming projects include “My Baby’s Mama,” with Eddie Griffin and “Haunted Mansion” opposite Eddie Murphy.

Thomason resides in London and Los Angeles. Her birthday is January 19.

I have a great appreciation for actors/actreses who can deliver a convincing American and/or British accent. Marsha does a great American accent (on "Haunted Mansion"), and if I never watched Las Vegas, I would never have guessed she was British.

I know there are a lot of actors that can pull this off, but I just wanted to add that I really enjoy Kate Winslet's performances as well. After watching "Titanic," I was shocked to learn that she was British.

That is cool that she has such an awesome non-accent too... I love actresses that can do that too!

I liked the last episode with Vanessa and the soccer guy, what was his name. We saw a slightly softer side of the Ice Queen [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
