Moved to the current episode discussion thread (CBS All New Episode....)

Hey guys, this thread is technically for the discussion of future eps. We still have the current ep thread.

I'm a little afriad of next week's episode. I really, really hope it's not the very last JA episode ever! I want Amy to stay on the bench. I don't want her to go for Senate. I hope in the end she stays on the bench. I'm going to be disappointed if she becomes a senator.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, assuming that it is the season finale (and not series finale). For instance, if Amy stands by her decision to leave the bench for good and run for the senate, and wins, what will happen to characters like Donna and Holbrook? Will they just disappear, or make the jump to Washington as well, to serve on her staff (everybody can't leave Hartford, can they?)... It could also set the stage for putting her relationship with her mother and her daughter to the ultimate test. With such a close-knit family, how will they handle with the demands of campaigning, winning and being accountable to a state full of consitutents? Although I am not fully sold on the Amy as Senator idea, developing this makes for interesting television... Just something to think about for season 7... :)

I didn't even think of that. I would miss Donna and Holbrook if they were no longer on the show because of Amy becoming Senator if that's what she ends up doing.
I'd hate to think that her relationship with both Maxine and Lauren would suffer. That would be sad. Seems like she would be giving up so much. Doesn't seem worth it, but then again I'm not Amy. :)

Well,it says in the tv guide that the "dysfunctional family storyline is getting stale with viewers" and that is why they might not renew the show.
So,I am thinking Amy running for Senate might put new life into the show.
I like her as a Judge with Donna,Holbrook,etc,too.
But,maybe they need to change the s/l a little to get new viewers and up the ratings
Maxine can marry Ignacio and go live with him.
I really like Donna-maybe she could go with Amy.
I love Maxine and Sean and their little chats and spats and how they handle the problem cases-I hope they continue with that storyline.

I like the ongoing family storyline.

I'm closing this thread since there won't be any speculation since the show was cancelled. :(
