Richard T. Jones' extensive feature-film credits include "The Wood," "Lockdown," "Book of Love," "Kiss the Girls," "Event Horizon," "What's Love Got to Do with It," "Renaissance Man," "The Trigger Effect," "Johns," "Pistol Blues," "G," "Moonlight Mile," "Phone Booth" and the upcoming "Blackout."

Among his television credits are the cable film "Second String" and the series "Sweet Justice," "NYPD Blue," "Ally McBeal," "Dangerous Minds" and, on CBS, "In the Heat of the Night" and "Brooklyn South."

Jones was born in Japan and raised in Carson, California. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their three children. His birth date is January 16.

Richard T. Jones's Father is Clarence Jones Hitting Instructor for the Cleveland Indians.

We need to see more of Mr. Jones in movies and tv series. He carries the character of Bruce in JA excellently and I would personally love to see more of his circle of family and friends (yes I know the show is called Judging Amy not Judging Bruce....but Amy and Bruce are gonna be 2gether anyway.) I LOVE him!! His character is one so complex and thoughtful. In a weird way he kind of reminds me of Mulder from the X-Files. Actually the Amy/Bruce dynamic reminds me vaguely of Mulder and Scully...in that they can't go any farther because of the job. anyways that was kinda OT.
Lately I think Bruce is lightening up a bit. He went through this period where he was just uptight. Still sexy [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] but uptight!

I haven't seen episode 4 so far, so I don't know anything about him and Amy. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] But I think that he's a very convincing actor, he's doing a great job!

Left Normal - i really like the Mulder/Scully reference. interesting approach!

on Bruce's pride... actually i find it somewhat annoying at times - understandable but nevertheless annoying: sometimes i just want to scream at him: "Get over yourself, butch!" and i'm glad he does most of the time. for example in 1x19: "The Out-of-Towners" where Amy defends him against that ignorant cop and he's all pissed and doesn't talk to her. i totally see that he can't be 'grateful' but he shouldn't take out his insecurities on Amy, IMO. i was glad when he finally apologised.

then - i see where your frustration is coming from. one could have thought that after Amy called off the wedding with Stu, it would have been the perfect time for some Bruce/Amy bonding but then that David came into the picture. [img]smilies/redface.gif[/img]
on the other hand, there's nothing wrong with hope and faith. see, it's kind of the same thing on Gilmore Girls where they're teasing us with Lorelai/Luke, isn't it?
