CBS - All New JA Episode: "My Name Is Amy Gray" Tuesday, May. 3 at 10PM ET/PT

Feel free to continue discussing this week's episode 'Paper War' since the other thread reached 300 posts.

I liked the episode this week. "The Paper War" really was interesting, and funny. Amy is a tough judge. I like the fact that she swallowed her pride at the end though to do what was right, but she is still tough. I love her!

Now, as for next week, the scenes looked boring. Hopefully the episode will turn out good, but it didn't look that interesting. Then again, I love every JA episode lol.

I agree, she is tough. She needs to be to be a judge. If she wasn't tough, they would probably walk all over her.

A new episode will air on March 22nd.

There will be no Judging Amy on March 29th. The Amazing Race will air in JA's timeslot. I hate the Amazing Race!

Yeah, this was definitely one of the more interesting eps I've seen. The whole notion of Amy as a US Senator is kind of scary. She has a hard enough time with a small courtroom. Besides, the whole idea of someone without any political experience being able to successfully run as a Senator is ludicrious. A U.S. Representative, maybe, but this guy was clearly just trying to get his agenda heard at the cost of Amy's career. Good thing Amy didn't take the guy seriously.

As for the paper war bit, I think that was kind of childish on both sides parts. I cannot believe that sort of thing actually happens. But I guess it does....

Can't wait for the new episode tonight!!!!! It's going to be a good one hopefully.

Great Episode Tonight! I Loved It. Maxine And Ignacio Were Funny Haha. Vincent Is A Cutie, And I Thought That Was Cute What Lauren Did For Amy. I Have To Admit, I Thought She Was Being A Brat In The Beginning Of The Show, But Now I Understand Where She's Coming From. I Thought That Was Thoughtful. Of Course, And David Was Finally Mentioned, So Who Knows What's Going On With That. Great Episode Though. I Enjoyed It

Can't Wait For Another Two Weeks!

Part of post was moved to Amy/Bruce Appreciation Thread.

I hate how The Amazing Race keeps pre-empting JA. CBS acts like The Amazing Race is more important than JA, and it's not!

I thought the episode was ok. I don't care for the relationship between Maxine and Ignacio. I figured he was gone since its been a few episodes since we've seen him.
I can't believe they mentioned Rebecca. It's been a long time.
Anyone else notice that they suddenly were attempting to cover up Amy B's. real life pregnancy? Most of the shots were only of her head and shoulders and a little lowerr. I thought it was interesting that the desk that she sits at in court looked different. It looked taller.
I guess Peter and Gillian are 'somewhere' Haven't seen them in a few episodes.

I really enjoyed this ep. It was much lighter than the last few we've seen; granted, Maxine had a really difficult case, but things still seemed to brighten up for everyone by the end.

I was so happy to hear that parenting advice Bruce gave Amy. I think one of the biggest problems in her and Lauren's relationship is that Amy tries so hard to keep her happy . . . sometimes putting it above what she, the mother, thinks is best. Fortunately, Lauren's behavior had an unselfish motive this time.

I think Maxine and Ignacio are kinda cute; he'll never be Jared, but I think their relationship makes her happy, and she deserves it.

I'm anxious to see how things will go with Vincent's new job . . . too bad CBS is making me wait 2 weeks!

I agree with 100% on that part of your post! :D My Mom & I used to watch Survivor and a couple of "The Mole" on ABC but not anymore. Everyone says they don't watch reality TV anymore, but if that's true why is more & more on? ;)

Anyway, I have a quick question for everyone. Did anyone tape this week's episode? I wasn't home and forgot to check my VCR before I left to see if the timer was set - it wasn't. So I would pay for S&H if anyone would be willing to send me a copy on tape. E-mail me if you have it. THANKS :)
