"A Wrong Day's Journal Into Right" Episode Discussion
charmed: A Wrong Day's Journey into Right Fresh | sunday | 8/7c With Piper (Holly Marie Combs) away at magic school and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) without her active powers, an overworked Paige (Rose McGowan) re-conjures Mr. Right (guest star Gabriel Olds) for "stress relief," but unknowingly releases his evil twin, Mr. Wrong. Appealing to Paige's dark side, Mr. Wrong uses his pheromones to trick her into realizing that the only way to achieve her secret desire - to be free and use her magic without fear of consequence - is to kill her sisters. To prevent Paige from executing his plan, Phoebe goes undercover as one of Mr. Wrong's Demonatrix assassins. Meanwhile, Chris (Drew Fuller) ends up in prison after a run-in with Mr. Wrong, and Darryl (Dorian Gregory) informs the sisters that he will no longer cover for them. Brian Krause also stars. Derek Johansen directed the episode written by Cameron Litvack. __________________

Yes! Let's journey to our sexy, lusty dark sides as we give into temptation and fall into the throes of Mr. Wrong's sex appeal. Don't forget those sexy demonatrixes. You've been a bad, bad boy!
That might as well be the promo for this episode. I want to die. __________________

I'm young and very naive.
I'm guessing something sexual, but what is a demonatrix? __________________

I didn't get to see the whole episode, but in one part when Leo was getting Chris out of jail, and Chris said "Thanks dad". I really liked that, it was so sweet. And such a touching moment.

It seems to me that they can't just ignore the law since they are witches...I was a little disappointed in that. But I loved Chris and Leo; I'm happy to see them talking together, even if they are still both cautious. __________________

So, evidently, the audience is either too stupid to recognize simple errors, or we are just simply supposed to overlook the obvious.
When did Paige get amnesia? After all, in the episode where she stole the Book of Shadows, she learned about personal gain, and swore she wouldn't use her magic that way again. Then, in this episode, she says she just doesn't care about personal gain. Evidently she has forgotten the fiasco she caused at work, the enlarged breasts she got as a result of using her magic against the guy in her office, and everything that happened when she first met the leprechauns. Sorry. I just don't believe she would have done this. For example, when Vincent (Mr. Wrong) steals the car from the car lot, it is after the demonatrix throws the salesman across the lot. He never had the chance to see Chris. Then, after Vincent takes off, Chris jumps into another car and just goes after him... Someone at the car lot just lost his job. They never leave the keys in a car that has not been sold. When Chris returns to the manor, he openly admits that he had been arrested for stealing a car, and has orbed out of jail. Then, he tells Phoebe that Darryl is covering for him. Either he lied (which is unlikely, given the fact that he so openly admitted everything else) or Darryl suddenly had a change of heart after agreeing to cover for Chris. Then, there is the simple matter of the separation of the "Power of Three." In one of the earlier episodes, all three of the girls lost their powers because they used them against each other. In this episode, Paige uses her powers against her sister, and yet they all keep their powers. (Well, except for Phoebe, who had lost hers prior to this episode.) And... What was with Phoebe trying to use powers she never possessed? That made no sense at all. So, those are the things I found that made this episode difficult to watch and accept. I was glad that the previews were misleading. They made it look as though Phoebe would be running around as a leather-clad blonde throughout the entire episode, and, thankfully, that was not the case. I liked the interaction between Chris and Leo in this episode. It is good to see that they are still working on their relationship. And, I am glad that Piper was in it as much as she was. She is my favourite character, so it is always nice to see her onscreen. I guess that is pretty much all I have to say about this episode. At least for now. __________________

I completely agree. The episode was very inconsistent and very out of character for both Phoebe and Paige.
What I'd like to know is why the car dealership guy never made a deal about two cars being stolen. Chris stole one; it was returned. Mr. Wrong took the other--whatever happened to it? Did Leo erase his memory about that too? (Which by the way, I thought Leo hated using that power...they could have handled the whole situaiton better.) On the whole, not a very excellent episode in regard to plot. But I did like the character development. And to me, that is all that matters. __________________

I agree with you on everything I hadn't quoted, though, Mr. Impatient. All in all, this was okay for a completely filler episode that did not progress anything. I didn't like it, but I could stand it. __________________
