Well it's just like life isn't it? You have periods of rest when everything is just so and then you wake up one day and realized everything has changed. Things have to change. You never get anywhere if you keep yourself rooted. In order for the show to stay the same Joan would still have to be naive and she'd seen too many ripples to ignore the fact that God existed. She was changed by everything she'd been a part of and that had to lead her down a different path to new discoveries.

I remember how excited I was after the season 2 finale. It seemed like we had a good story coming up, and we never got to find out if that evil dude was the devil. vague, I know, but I haven't seen season 2 since it was on...

I guess Joan's missions would have had a more connected focus - to combat the evil of Ryan. They probably would have gotten bigger too. What I really would have loved to see would have been Joan convincing her "army" to do all these weird things without them knowing properly why.

Especially seeing how Grace and Luke would of reacted.
Goodness 5 years on, Joan would be or turning 21 now. I wonder what she would of studied at College. |

I was wondering what would happen to Will and Helen. Maybe Will could turn Keith Mars on us and be a PI

I'm a little late joining this discussion, but thought I'd post anyway
I agree that the timing of JoA's cancellation sucked because Ryan was such an interesting character, and it really felt like they could have done a ton with that storyline in the next season. It felt like the God storyline needed to be revitalized, and the character of Ryan seemed like a great way to do that. I'm a little hazy on the last half of season 2, so I am going to have to watch those before I guess more on what season 3 would have been like or what I would have liked to have seen __________________
