Previously on Riverdale... Tallboy is back and neutralized... A & V are over and Hiram is shot...

It's film noir theme night on Riverdale.... FP is being lied to by Jug. Not sure why... He knows.
A body under a bed can't smell good can it? Betty back to Hal? Love it. Very silence of the lambs.

Penelope poisoning everyone? I am not sure. It's so obvious.

Archie is always traumatized . Boy needs a break. Back to construction. Archie is standing up to a supervisor? Why... He should be fired. I don't like where this is going.

Veronica switched sides quickly. I hope Hiram dies. I am so tired of his character.

And that hat she wore was idiotic. Way too on the nose.

Kick the maple barrel - I hope that expression sticks .

Veronica and Jughead - in a scene by themselves? Is this a Riverdale first?

Jughead questioning Hermione was funny, like why would she even answer his questions? Why would she tell a friend of her daughter about her husband cheating on her? Did she want V to find out?

Poor Fred. Archie is off the rails.

Betty shows up at a lot of the Blossom funerals.. . Grandma Blossom seems to look healthier than usual.

WOW Betty and Cheryl scene? And they are reflecting on history? That doesn't happen often,

Veronica ordering goons around? What person in a mob calls it a mob? . I don't understand why they even talk to her. She separated from her dad and then does this? Umm again I don't think Capos get fired as much as they get offed..

Now her butler and her boyfriend are her new gang? Oh please let Smithers kill someone so I can say 'the butler did it'. .

Betty and Jughead investigating together again... I dig it. Still want to see more normal relationship scenes though.

A sex club in one hotel room with no doors? Maple Club... . Sticky Maples all around!

Josie appears -- 16 minutes in and yep she is singing. Girl has become an extra. I thought the club wasn't serving drinks? Josie to the rescue! Maybe Josie and Archie will be next?

Veronica playing mob is embarrassing. At least Reggie is getting screen time. At least she looked amazing... as usual.

Josie fixing Archie a hangover cure.. Archie I know we didn't talk much last year? Did they at all? . At least the writers aren't totally glossing over it.

This was an okay episode. It seemed whoever wrote it at least had knowledge on the past episodes. On top of that i did enjoy that we got more josie and penlope since we barely know anything about them.

Is Kevin still alive?

the whole old time feel of the episode annoyed me, but i did like the mystery aspect. Seeing bughead work together felt like s1 episodes. I also enjoyed the different interactions.

I definitely prefer this darker Hermione than the lapdog we have been getting all season but a murderer? ehhhh.

And FP shot Hiram, wtf! I do sort of like FP/Hermione working together.

LOVED the archie/veronica scene so much and how they hugged and are being friends with one another. So cute.

I also loved the Josie and Archie interactions. I thought they had potential in the pilot but then we never got anything for them. I want this friendship to continue! I wouldnt mind a romance either.

This show needs to stop bringing "dead" characters back just to kill them, this is like the third person they have done that with that. Its like they just want to be shocking but they dont want to kill any major characters.

It is odd seeing Veronica boss around mobsters. Also hearing Betty act like she cared about Cliff was hard to believe. The the whole thing is odd. She now is interested in his autopsy when he died over a year ago. I do not know why these people couldn't have just tried to get to the bottom of Cliff's death sooner. I don't think they were too busy with school. Very odd. I did think it was a suicide & seemed like the most logical conclusion at the time. I'm somewhat surprised that Hiram's mistress didn't just shoot that nosey Jughead after she caught him in her hotel room.

I was behind like two episodes but I finally caught up so Archie didn't die but what a crazy episode this was and Ep 10 too.

Well, in the comics that I remember Jughead & Veronica don't hangout with each other. They are from 2 vastly different backgrounds & of course his obsession with food while she's pretty much a material girl doesn't help in that regard, so I'm not surprised that they haven't had many scenes by themselves together if at all. Nor do I particularly need to see that. This was perhaps the oddest episode of ''Riverdale'' thus far. Such as some of the things you mentioned. The Maple Club that teens all of a sudden found out about. Veronica & the mob. Betty showing up at Mr. Blossom's I guess funeral. That might have been a memorial instead. Don't remember for sure. I guess we shouldn't be surprised that Veronica's mom had an affair apparently, but I don't necessarily feel bad for Veronica because she doesn't from what I can tell even seem to like her parents much, so it's perhaps surprising if she'd even care whether they have affairs or not. It's a wonder why they are still married & or haven't separated at this point anyway.
