Gladys and Jellybean show up in the midseason finale. Gladys runs a salvage yard in Toledo and is in charge of a bunch of teenage Serpents. She and JB are con artists to make ends meet. She also has a crazy scar on her face and looks rugged as hell. She is going to be a trip!

Skeet doesn’t know how Gladys will affect Falice specifically but she will definitely cause a shakeup. It will make them figure out what is important to them and if their love is long standing. (Yasss)

The cult’s foundation is laid in 3A but wont become the “big bad” until the second half of the season when it starts infiltrating the whole town per Madchen.

Alice is burying her trauma and in denial about what has happened to her. The hippy cult life is just a way to escape it but she will eventually have to face everything per Madchen.

FP is reaping all of the benefits of her new hippy attitude. Free love baby.

Betty knows the cult is not good and she and Alice are at odds over it but when it comes down to it they always have each others backs.

Betty and Alice are in big danger in 3x06 per Madchen.

FP and Jughead will have a really emotional scene in 3x06 per Skeet. Make of that what you will 👀

Sounds like they may have casted Edgar but not ready to reveal it yet. He will show up in person in the second half (I assume) and just be referred to in the first.

JB seems to be blonde/blue eye? Or at least the actress seems to be. I guess RAS decided to forget about that picture of young brunette/brown eye JB. Speaking of JB. I can already see a Mom&Daughter relationship developing between Alice&JB.

I think they decided to ultimately go for the better actor rather than someone who matched a prop photo. I never expected them to pay great attention to that.

What did surprise me was the scar that Gladys appears to have in one of the twitter pics. In season 1, in the episode Jughead and Archie try to get FP back on track by working with Fred, he tells Archie that he got into trouble financially as he had a lot of hospital bills to pay, so he took some less than legal jobs to try and cover it. I wonder if there is a connection?

One comic fan on reddit, pointed out that in the comics Jellybean was supposedly born in a car crash? But someone also pointed out Hiram calling Alice, "Acid-Queen Alice," after the picture of her serpent past appeared, could also have something to do with it? Personally, I find it hard to believe that if Alice threw acid in Gladys' face that wouldn't already be known and FP would be so warm around Alice.

Well, I don't know about Alice using acid. But nevertheless, I wouldn't rule out Alice scaring Gladys' face.
