Definitely lots of anticipation especially regarding their first real kiss in the 50s

No it was definitely her experiencing her first childhood crush

But the show made it weird mixing it in with that question

It’s not like they were playing doctor in a sexual way

Yeah he was very invasive with most of his questions

I said Archie was when they were playing Operation

And I took it as the show saying that he’s always had her heart since they were young kids

I think they're taking a bit too long considering we're nearly ten episodes into the final season.

Okay. I still think she had some sexual feelings for Archie even at that age. I know I had some back in elementary school for Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

I think it's just part of the show making Werthers one of the villains of this season, like his resentment of Jughead and Ethel writing horror comics and his attempts to sabotage them.

Oh, when they were playing Operation. That heart. I see. Man, they had Operation back in 1955?

Yup wasn’t invented yet technically

The childhood flashback scene definitely made me think of my own childhood cause I also played Operation as a young kid

Still have the one I’ve had since then

And also reminiscing about my own best guy friend from elementary school when I was around that age 2nd - 3rd grade

I didn’t technically have a crush on him like Betty had on Archie but I liked him a lot as a friend

Yes, Operation came out in 1964, nearly ten years later. And I also played with it back in the 1970s as a kid. Or maybe the 80s, I can't remember. I forgot when we had that game.

You still have it? You're lucky, I've lost all of the old board games I had.

Unfortunately we really did lose touch after 3rd grade because he transferred to another school

We didn’t see each other again until middle school cause we both ended up going to the same one

But we never had any classes together and we would just say hi to each other from time to time

It wasn’t the same anymore
