I think I expected it from the minute Toni and Jug kissed. I'm not overly plussed cause I think it will work out eventually.

I'm actually shocked it took until mid-season 2 for Archie/Betty to be explored. This is the Archie Comics, it was a given this was happening. Even putting the comics aside, the early season 1 stuff was going to be revisited.

That said, I think it will end before it even begins. I think the showrunner will find a way to honor the comics yet conclude the triangle for good.

I was hoping that the one break up was all we would have to deal with. I so wanted Betty as a serpent.

Maybe she will still be one and be around even though Jughead doesn't want that.

I'm not sure the triangle will be concluded FOR GOOD but I do think that BA will be put to rest as soon as it begins. Maybe even in the next episode or the one after that. I can see them both hurting and leaning on each other but then realizing how wrong it is and that they are just rebounding with each other.

If they really cared about BA and wanted to build that relationship they would have them starting to get closer NOW because of the break ups and develop a real genuine thing. Not putting that forced look in last minute in the episode.

yeah they already broke up twice and almost broke up in season 1 after jugheads party. and if something happens with BA they will not be on good terms. once betty finds out about toni, they will not be on good terms.

im hoping what happens is that betty finds out about the jughead/toni kiss, then kisses archie just to get back at him (if a kiss happens at all) and then it will be obvious that shes just hurting.

A lot of people are saying that Toni might date Cheryl.Toni will still be an issue with Bughead because they were making out and started groping each other.
