It would be unwise for the showrunner to break up Bughead. Putting my shipper goggles aside, I truly believe they are the cornerstone of the series. With this type of show, you need drama, but you also need stability. I believe Bughead is the stability. Create drama elsewhere.

While true you never know with him. Especially since so far it looks like he still does the make it up as it goes along, and play it by ear thing.

Bughead collectively Barley had any storyline’s last season. Seemed more favourable to Archie and Veronica.

Exactly. He favors Varchie the most and wanted them not Bughead to be the main it couple of the show. You know I sometimes wonder what the show would be like if it had a better showrunner cause if you ask me what's the main problem of the show I would say it's the showrunner. Sorry if that came off as ranting.

Well in cast interviews I notice the interviewer always seems to gravitate the conversation to Bughead haha. I’m not certain is the current show runner been here since S1? I’m not sure if the SR has much creative control. But be nice to see more substantial Bughead storyline’s in S4. Be nice to see a return to S1 source material. Some of the themes like Gargoyles and Cults were a bit much dark and innane for me 😂.

Yes, he's been the showrunner since S1. Well, while I agree about the farm cult I didn't mind the GK/G&G. In fact, I actually enjoy it. Especially the Jughead vs GK storyline.
