I loved Bughead so much in the finale. Every scene was perfection. Their emotional/romantic connection is unstoppable. Their ILYs, the talk Hal and how Betty is not her father, Jug asking Betty to be Serpent Queen felt like a future proposal.

I love how we don't have to worry about the state of their relationship while waiting for season 3. They were perfect in the finale.

It really did feel like a future proposal.

There was definitely more of a romantic meaning behind it than him just asking her to be his Serpent Queen. It was really sweet. I know they're too young to get married (though it happened with Naley on OTH so anything is possible), but I like the idea of it signifying a deeper commitment and love between them.

I love that we don't have to worry about their relationship status over the summer either. It'll greatly ease my anxiety over the hiatus
