105: Fantastic episode for Varchie. I lovedddddd their scene in the hallway where she bandaged his hand! She's always taking care of Archie and now during the rewatch, its obvious how much the writers care about these two and put time into their relationship. They've been slowly building since the pilot and its a lot easier to see when you watch the episodes in succession compared to week by week. I love when Archie mentioned Valerie and Veronica got all jealous, and then Archie calling her out on it and her trying to play it off. Then when she said she got her 7 minutes in heaven, the little looks between them? Wow, yeah, they were definitely feeling things. I also loved when she glanced back at him and he smiled. They were so already vibing on each other early on. It actually amazes me now when people try to say they were rushed because they genuinely were not at all.

106: Was dang cute!!! Her offering to sing with him was the cutest thing ever. Also when Archie offered her the part back and said they could talk. Totally didnt care about Valerie there lol.... Veronica walking down the hall with the pussycats was amazing and I loved Archie’s face. And the ending scene between them was so cute. I LOVE how Veronica apologized for blowing up at him and their little pep talk before he went out. “Focus on someone that makes you feel safe.” So far my favorite V/A moment because he totally looked at her to feel safe before he performed and they made that evident. I really liked his song too.

107 and 108 were not good to VA but I do love that they always sitting next to each other and Veronica was the one that was able to pull Archie out of the babyshower and get through to him. She's so good for him and calms him down.

btw did you guys see the delete scene from 113? It has bughead and varchie together at pops. Veronica says Archie is still deciding between Vanilla and Chocolate (obv. referencing betty and veronica) but archie interrupts and goes "CHOCOLATE!" and looks at her all cute. So, imo thats him definitively choosing.

I like how Veronica/Archie were constructed in season 1. It was gradual and there were hints along the way. Great build up. They were instantly attracted to each other (kiss in the Pilot) but they also developed a close friendship along the way as well. They have a perfect recipe/nice foundation for a great romantic relationship. Looking forward to seeing more in season 2!

I watched 109 today. Another light ArchieRonnie episode but there was a cute moment when Veronica told Archie to be careful getting involved with the Blossoms. And then he told her not to worry that he can take of himself and she said 'famous last words' and looked at him all flirtatiously. Then he smiled back at her like ehe was impressed with her. She also called him Archiekins again. I love how subtle they are.
