Agent Carter - Board Customization

Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or color suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colors will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colors will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customization process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Rae or Mel a PM or ask the Team on the message board customization thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colors get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

YAY thanks for starting this up Rae.

SO exciting.

Will be back with more suggestions/ideas on the colour palette/graphics but I'd like a nice, soft hue of blue perhaps like this:

design seeds | color escape | for all who ♥ color

Would love to hear what suggestions that Jess and the other posters have too.

I would def like to see some reds & blues, because it fits Agent Carter so well.

Do we want to do a cast picture for the banner or just pictures of Peggy?

I hope some of our regular posters here will give their input!

I know nothing about the show but I would go with more than one member of the cast as I am sure there are fans of other characters

. If you can link to individual pictures of the cast (if you choose to go with them) that would be wonderful too.

I like the idea of blues and reds.

Pictures of cast members "in character" or as themselves?

And why not use a graphic for the show? I don't know if we can use official pics but one of these could be nice:

The above images are downsized. I can provide the originals which are much bigger/better.

Exactly what I was thinking

... but I worry that the two colours would clash (unless we get softer hues?) and I also didn't see a palette with those colour combos ... so I'd suggest to have the blue and reds in the banner itself instead.

I agree, I think the banner should feature Peggy/Jarvis/Angie/Dottie/Daniel/Howard/Thompson.

Sorry to barge in like this (I haven't started watching the show yet), but I have a thing for logos (I collect them) and I have this shows logo in HQ with no background layer (I think it helps since you don't have to crop it, doesn't it?), there you go

We use (preferably HQ) pictures of the characters in character.

I was thinking that the one color blue that you suggested would be perfect.

Just have the red in the "Agent Carter" of the logo in the banner.

The banners that have been suggested are great.

I agree about the characters being those 7 you said, Sarah.

Maybe not Angie since she hasn't officially been confirmed for Season 2 yet?

I think I have some images of the cast (individually) that I will try to find when I can!

Those are great BTW, I love that logo a lot and I think we should use this.

Glad we're on the same page on that, love the idea of contrasting that with the red in the AC logo.

Yeah I originally omitted Angie from the list for the same reasons but then thought you guys may want to include her since she was still integral in S1. Am okay with what the majority would prefer though.

Technically yes as we cut out each character individually, but we would prefer individual pictures of each character; especially for the main ones. Usually they are better quality and easier for us to use. Even if we do use group shots they will not look like the same since we cut them up and often change the placement.

Ahh got it, thanks for clarifying that.

Then it's probably better for us to use the individual pictures of the castmembers.
