Yep. And I figure, if Tru can pull about 80 percent of The OC's audience, it should be ok, at least for the first season. Because The OC has been doing really well, Fox thinks they have their new 90210

Ok, well it looks like Fox might already be changing their minds. I was reading Kristin's chat transcript over at E! Online, and apparently Fox is thinking about leaving The OC on Tuesdays now.
I don't see how they're going to manage that, since 24 is really popular, and that's it's timeslot that The OC was in all summer. Unless they put it at 8pm? __________________

So much for The OC being it's leadout, Fox placed it on Wednesdays at 9pm and stuck repeats of Skin in the timeslot behind Tru

Precisely. The thing is, they do this to all their scifi related shows. So I can't figure out why they order them into production to begin with.
Here's hoping Eliza brings in enough viewers to be able to hang on at least for one season. __________________

Why do they bother? Pfft!
I reckon ED will bring in enough to keep it for 1 season, then with no Friends and maybe a night change it will go strong from season 2 *heres hoping anyway!* |

Yeah, Friends is really the big thing to worry about. So if the show can overcome that, plus pull itself together for long term story telling arcs, season two should be in there

I was impressed with ED's performance. She managed to turn out a sympathetic, flawed character quite unlike Faith. I quite disliked her interaction with the professor, though. Could anyone explain how that little affair develops her character?

I think the thing that attracted me so much to this show was the difference in character, because although I love Faith, it's nice to see Eliza in a newer role.
I've said this of course though. __________________
