THE GIRLS HEAD TO PUERTO RICO - Nathan (James Lafferty), Jamie (Jackson Brundage), Clay (Robert Buckley), Julian (Austin Nichols), Chase (Stephen Colletti) and Chuck (guest star Michael May) have a camp-out on the Rivercourt. Meanwhile, Brooke (Sophia Bush), Quinn (Shantel VanSanten), Alex (Jana Kramer) and Lauren (guest star Allison Munn) take a trip to Puerto Rico. Bethany Joy Galeotti also stars. The underlined part had me a little concerned, for real. I was like, they have gots to be kidding me if they are going to do a musical episode (with several cast members singing, not just Joy!) like Glee or Grey's.

But then I realized that it was most likely a typo. You meant signing, right?

This ep was so unnecessary that it doesn't deserve ANY reviews. No really, I didn't want to write anything cause it derserves nutta.

I will say this though...

Nathan says if you make this the River court stays like this forever. Jamie makes the shot. (I don't know... destiny shot...didn't exactly work for BL). Might need to rethink that Nate.

And Julian saying he wants a girl just like Brooke ala Nathan saying he wants a girl like Haley.

Once again writers just being repetitive, dialogue/scenes...that's when they aren't having the characters doing nothing, showing gracious shots of the ladies or texting...and they want a S9? To tell what exactly? Why not just re play past seasons. Might as well for all the recycling that's going on.

Only good thing? Haley re-opening Karen's Cafe. I don't see why Mrs Fashion designer B. Davis would run a cafe baby or not with her, but whatever...love that's its Haley's idea and that she will own it.

Haley was in for less than 2 mins (understandable because of Joy's maternity leave...I am grateful they at least included her and Joy was ok to film, appreciate that) and yet she still pawned all.

Is that necessary? Not everybody wants it to end, and honestly thats a little rude for the people who do want it to continue. This is PRO-OTH board.

With that being said, I quite enjoyed the episode. I loved all the Puerto Rico stuff! Though I do wish that Haley could have been there, but totally understandable that she wasnt. And I'm glad that she was at least in it for a bit.

The BH scene at the end was amazing. Hopefully we get more just like that in S9, if there is one.

When Chuck heard Chase was leaving, it broke my heart. Soo sad. He really likes Chase. And so happy that Chase bought him a bike, though he didnt even "teach" him how to ride it. He just got on and rode off.

Next week's looks good. It would be nice to know though if its going to be a season finale, or a series finale.

I agree. I loved the episode too. And I don't want season eight to be the last season either. I feel like that really shouldn't be in the disclaimer, as it's biased.

I felt really bad for Chuck too. I half expected Chase to change his mind just for him, but I'm glad they didn't. That would only serve to teach Chuck that when he lashes out he can get his way. But the poor kids story about his dad was heartbreaking.

The girls in Puerto Rico was cute. Wish Haley could have been there with them, but of course it's understandable that she wasn't. It would have been much better though with BH scenes.

I loved the scene were Julian told Nathan that Brooke is pregnant. I love their awkward friendship. I'll take more of those anytime.

I agree that it was kind of a pointless, filler episode but I still enjoyed it. I can't imagine the possibility of the next episode being the series finale.

Yea I'm glad Chase didnt back down too. Though I actually hope that he doesnt go. I kind of like Chase/Alex, and Chase/Chuck.

And awww when Millie gave Mouth the mic(though I had a feeling it was going to happen), it was sad and perfect at the same time. I'm not ready for it to end yet.

Anyways, I know most people are going to disagree with me. Which is why I dont post in here much, but I still enjoyed the episode.

I honestly really do want a Season 9. With Haley wanting to bring back Karen's Cafe and with that maybe we can bring back the One Tree Hill we've missed for a while.

yes the show is different, of course it is, it's been on for 8 years. For the show to be the exact same as it was in Season 4, Season 6, Season 1, whatever your favorite season is...it's highly unlikely. And come on, can they really rewrite every season like Season 1 where we all fell in love with these characters, no, they cannot. Because what would've changed. It would be boring, IMO. Everyone has their opinions, as they should. But at the same time, we should also respect others opinions on this board as Tori said, it's a pro-OTH board. And for us to not do that, what does that say?

Well my original comment was actually about the disclaimer.......

But I do agree with you. While I do think people are allowed to have opinions and are able to state those opinions, it's a little disheartening going to a board and ALWAYS seeing negative comments about it. I mean it should go back to "if you don't have anything nice to say......" it's just lately this has seemed like an anti-OTH thread (not necessarily this thread yet....) more than anything. And I just dont see the point in watching/posting about something you hate so much.

I know I'm one of the few people that actually likes the show so people obviously wont agree. But just had to get that out.
