kjchvbkjhcb. I can't stand this season anymore. Did they just get compeletely different writers and directors from the first 4 seasons?! A little interaction between the core group would be nice... I'm sick of seeing just individual storylines that don't interweave with other people.

I liked this episode. I really hope Sam doesn't decide to go to her birth mother. __________________

Nice episode. I enjoyed pretty much the whole thing. I'm glad Victoria's back. Even though she's a bitch, she's an interesting character.
Just one little irk . . . do all episodes nowadays have to end with Leyton? It's not a jab at the ship. It's just kind of a predictable formula. -April |

Oh show why must you be so boring? And why do I subject myself to wasting this hour of my life. It's a mystery... *head to desk*

I actually enjoyed the entire episode, even the Jamie stuff.
Likes: -Victoria/Sam interaction! -I really like Skills/Jamie's teacher -Nathan giving the Europe offer to that one guy. Well it wasn't him that gave it to him, but you know what I mean... -When Lucas paid the waitress in the diner and told her to yell at him when he got outside, I thought that was hilarious -Haley...is always awesome Dislikes: -No Julian -I liked Peyton's flashback hair just about as much as I liked her hair in the 40s episode... -Mia is annoying. -Nick Lachey's acting...just no. __________________

First of all, how gorgeous was Haley in this episode?? Hair, makeup, clothes, all just so pretty, and she just has a glow about her. So pretty. Total girl crush.
Great music in this episode too. Tyrone Wells! I kind of have a soft spot for Nick Lachey, but I really did like his stuff. So he's not necessarily an actor, but his song was good. The Sam/birth mother story kind of has my interest, but the thing with Victoria? I've decided it's too little too late, as in, it's just not possible to feel anything close to liking her, no matter how much they soften her up. In all her past appearances she was too one-dimensional, almost a caricature; you never got even a hint of humanity. So to try and make me like her or even understand her motivations, etc., sorry but it ain't happening. For example, what made it possible to actually have at least some vague caring feelings for Dan Scott was that from day one we saw hints of humanity and vulnerability. He was easy to hate, but a part of you kind of got why he was that way. ............ Did that make any sense? Ha. I thought all the LP flashbacks were kind of poignant, considering that they had all those dreams and plans and came very close to losing each other forever, but now they are together and on the verge of being parents. Did anyone else find it kind of inappropriate to see 5 year olds holding hands like teenagers? Something about that just did not feel right. __________________

I thought the same thing with Jamie and Madison. Do 5 years even really like each other?! Don't they still have cooties at that age? Anyway, I was REALLY hoping for Skills to confirm a first kiss with Haley in that scene, when he talked about leaving the dance Skills. But WHATEVER, writers.
Biggest wtf of the night - Jamie is a huge Nick Lachey fan?! Really?! I find that QUITE hard to believe, mostly because he seems to be more in Soulja Boy and the like. But really, does NL have huge fans? Either way, Haley would never write that song, or any song with that beat. I love that they went to the trouble of giving Peyton that wig, even though I'm almost 100% certain that Peyton's hair didn't even look like that at the end of S4. Not to mention Lucas's hair was long and combed back by then too. And did he have facial hair? Fail harder, writers. Quote:

Ugh.... Honestly the only redeeming quality of this show is Brooke/Sam.
LP's flashbacks were horrible to watch. Seriously when Peyton was like I just graduated from High school, I was thinking really because both of them look like they are knocking on 30! Jamie/Skills were horrible. Tina looked cute though. Mia was annoying. Who cares who Chase was in love with 5 years ago? You are his girlfriend now and Brooke doesn't even know Chase is alive, let alone in the same town. Nick and Haley should be everyone's OTP because they both sing and they are hot and have better chemistry than NH! Haley telling Nathan... "It's not a fantasy, it's your dream." was the worse line of the show. Seriously wasn't it just last season a doctor told Nathan that his back was being held together by gum, string and crazy glue and never to play basketball again. What coach in his right mind would want him on his team? Having no job must be affecting Haley's good sense. __________________

I feel like I've been watching the same episode on repeat for weeks and weeks.
Lucas and Peyton open the episode. Talk about nonsense. Luke kisses forehead. LP spend the rest of the episode apart, until they close out the episode. Luke roams around looking longingly at inanimate objects and Peyton has absolutely nothing to do. Oh, and sometimes they talk on the phone. At least this time we got flashbacks even though they were lame. Lucas had long hair in season 4 and I'm pretty sure he didn't have facial hair either. Don't they know their fans by now? Like we wouldn't notice? Haley runs around propping everyone else and being in random scenes. Oh, and supporting Nathan's "dream" but completely neglecting her own. Nathan dribbles. Nathan shoots. Nathan talks to coach. Nathan has fight with angry bball player # 832629. Nathan pursues "dream." Nathan and Haley act like roommates instead of husband/wife. Brooke does her Brooke thing where she gets angry and yells and/or gets sad and cries. All the while the show reinforces to us how selfless and strong she is but still unable to love because she got her heart broken at 16 and plus her mom's a bitch. Jamie says things like "unspoken connection", talks to Skillz about girls, drinks beer(?) and generally acts/talks like a 30 year old man. Sam: sarcasm, sarcasm, anger, sarcasm, tears, sarcasm...etc. Mia/Chase: pointless but tolerable since Mia mostly has scenes with Peyton and Haley. Mouth/Mille: thankfully not in this episode because if they were they probably would have been completely isolated from the core 5, completely boring, or creepily video chatting each other. This show makes me want to hit my head against a wall. There's no plot, a plethora of useless characters, petty drama, constant repetitive stale story lines, no sex scenes, little to no sense of realism...etc. And is anyone else getting annoyed that apparently the only way women on this show can be successful/create anything worth while is if they're inspired by a man? It infuriates me that they keep attributing Mia's songwriting to Chase. And Brooke built COB on a broken heart from Lucas and this new line on a broken heart from Julian. __________________

I love that everyone refers to Allison's character as "Tina" -- I personally don't even know who the hell she is on this show. Tina ftw always. I'm so on board with the Nick/Haley shipping...chemistry was more evident to me in their last scene than I have seen between NH in the past five years. But honestly, would Haley even produce a track like that? It sounded way too bubble gum for me to be convinced that came from Haley (then again, I just caught the last fifteen minutes of the ep, so if the track was rearranged, let me know). __________________

I don't think it was rearranged. I agree for sure, she'd NEVER produce such a song.

I cannot stand Jamie. He is annoying and not cute. I am sick and tired that every episode has to have a part to make Jamie "adorable". It is way over the top.
This season is boring and contrived. Bring back the drama of the first 3 seasons. I agree with everybody that says that nobody interacts with anybody anymore. I'm pretty much done with this show. __________________
