But I thought Andy and even Chris Keller were decent plot characters and I personally enjoyed all the Dan stuff a lot with the cliffhanger at the end being pretty epic IMO. But I can see why others didn't like series 2 as I really did flow badly during the first half



That woukd make more sense. Was it in danger of not being renewed? I always thought the viewer numbers it had was pretty good for the show it was

Most people did I don't think season 1 was in danger because the ratings kept rising through the season. Season 2 to 4 definitely was though and they even thought going to 3.22 that they could have been the last episode of the series.

I always thought the ratings drop was mainly due to the switching of networks?? Also I thought the show always pulled in 2 million plus viewers?

The show was dropping a bit ratings wise (more than at any other point in the history of the show) in season 2 and even season 3, so that's why it was in trouble in getting renewed for season 4 on the CW since most of the other WB shows had higher ratings. In fact the start of season 4, the ratings were higher than at any point in season 3 or the back end of season 2 as well. The first three seasons on the CW, the show was pretty constant ratings wise since all three seasons average similar averages and even season 7 was still doing decently ratings wise despite of the loss of Leyton. Only seasons 8 and 9 dropped lower the 2 million viewers threshold.

so finished watching series 3 and 4 and for me my favourite series is 3 followed by 4 with 1 and 2 tied even though 2 doesn't really flow that well compared to the others. I think 2 had the best cliff-hanger but the Jimmy Edwards/keith being killed episodes like I remembered being my faves

Looking forward to starting 5 as I always really enjoyed it from what I remember. However I do remember it having much less episodes then the others was there a reason for that?
