Thanks for the new one. Did anyone hate that the friendships got less focus in the later seasons?

So much!! They got too caught up in the same aspects every other show does.

Yeah I hated how it seemed they were off in the own worlds in the later seasons.

The friendships should have had more focus.

Yeah definitely, only an couple of friendships seemed to get a lot more focus each season in the later years.

It would have been nice if friendship had been the overall focus after the brothers.

Yes, it definitely would have been nice.

Honestly, I don't care about most friendships on this show to begin with. Especially among core 5. So, outside of PH, I wasn't bothered by their absence much. I wish the friendships were better written though. Especially PHB, who give me such fake, cutesy trash American tv girls/girl friendship vibes.

I cared for an few friendships so the lack of focus really annoyed me imo.

Which ones would you like to have seen more of in the later seasons?

I liked some side friendships (Karen + Deb, Peyton/Lucas + Anna, Lucas/Haley/Peyton + Skills, Lucas + Julian), but not many main ones. Hated BP and BH and didn't care for LN or BPH. Also didn't care for many minor friendships. Namely, Mouth + anyone.

Karen + Deb, Lucas + Haley, Peyton + Haley, Lucas + Skills, Haley + Skills, Peyton + Skills, Lucas + Nathan & Nathan + Peyton. I liked Mouth as a friend, it was just in every other department he annoyed me in.

Mouth + screentime was generally a bad thing in my books, lol. I only ever liked him at the very beginning, with Jimmy.
