Do you think it was a mistake to not have Brooke/Julian adopt?

No, but it was also a mistake to have them have twins.

Yeah, that was dumb
Would have preferred for them to adopt, especially since it would have been something different than what we got with Peyton and Brooke. |

That's not a story they ever could have done justice.

Definitely not
Still would have been more interesting to watch than what we got though |

Some people aren't meant to have kids, tbh Childfree would have been an interesting story because people get a lot of intrusive judgement for making that choice.

Definitely could have, but I'm not sure that would have worked for Brooke with how they wrote her character post season 4.
Could see that storyline working for Quinn though |

Quinn was kind of maternal from when she was introduced, Brooke had to be changed to make her that way...

Don't think Quinn being a good aunt to Jamie necessary makes her maternal, since you can love being a aunt or uncle while not wanting any of your own kids.

It wasn't just Jamie, she just always came across as maternal, whereas Brooke needed to be changed to fit that box.

She just never really came across as maternal to me, outside of Jamie.

She did to me. With Brooke it was forced.

Just the way she was from the beginning.
