As to the Bethany/Joy/Joie debate, as a person with a name everyone seems to shorten, I can feel her pain. My husband, family and childhood friends call me one nickname which I don't like others to call me. I prefer Elizabeth. What's hard about Joy's dilemna is that she decided she wanted to be called Bethany after she began her career. It's kinda messy. At least she doesn't seem to be the type to take offense.
