What look can't the guy pull off?

I just watched Maze, and it was SO good. Not worth the rental if you're just looking for Craig, because he's not in it much...but the movie in general was great. Laura Linney and Rob Morrow both did an excellent job with their roles.

Maze, that sounds vaguely familiar but not because of Craig. Did this involve a kid somehow? I might be thinking of something else though with Laura Linney.

- Crystal - 11-18-2003 07:29 PM

Not really about a kid, although Linney's character does end up having a baby...but it was mainly about an artist (Morrow) that has Tourette's Syndrome and his relationships with his best friend (Sheffer) and his best friend's girlfriend (Linney).

I hope our fav uncle is there for Nathan tonight! Like maybe he will beat the He*l out of his own brother!!!!

JulieB 11-18-2003 07:38 PM

Ok, that's not the one I'm thinking of but it sounds good. I used to love Rob in Northern Exposure.

You know I went over to imdb just to refresh my memory on alot of things and can't believe how extensive that list is! I think I've only seen maybe 15 of those max and that's out of what was it, 50 or so? But that's good in a way. I wouldn't mind diving into some that I haven't seen.

Soulmates, I'm hoping for some great Keith/Lucas moments too. And I'm really interested to see what kind of atmosphere is going to be created as well now that Deb is there.

Hi, I wanted to join in the Craig/Keith love. Sorry I haven't until now.

"A River Runs Through It" is one of my all time favorite movies. It was the first movie I saw CS in, although I soon found out he had been a lot of other movies. Is he in a movie, "Bliss"? And even though he was a jerk in "SKOW", he was still a hottie. Hmmm.. flashbacks. ::There she goes, Miss Amanda Jones::

Anyway, a piece of useless trivia (which I love) Did you know Craig's brother Hogan is the headwriter of the soap "As the World Turns"? Hehe - as a soap opera watcher I have to know these things.

About tonight's show .. What did everyone think of Keith's parenting skills? I wasn't surprised that he was fair yet stern. It's amazing to me how different Keith and Dan are morality wise. Good god, you think they were raised by different people.

Thanks and I love this thread!

JulieB 11-18-2003 11:16 PM

Now you've got me singing it Luna LOL! "round and round and round" Love that movie! And yes, he was in Bliss, he was married to I can't remember her name but she played Laura Palmer in Twin Peaks.

And yes, I did know about his brother but only because Fraz posted about it on the first spoilers thread, I had no idea. Pretty cool.

The scenes were really good with Lucas tonight. I kind of could see both sides. But Keith has alot of pressure on him. He really wants to do right by Karen.

- Crystal - 11-18-2003 11:33 PM

So help me God if Lucas' sudden rebel streak screws Keith over with Karen, I'll hunt down his little fictional character ass. Heh.

Not that their scenes weren't great, because they were, it was just that I'm gonna worry and stew over how much the youngin' is going to hurt more than himself when Karen returns.

"Freakin' Fool" is right. Heh.

*sighs*

I can't believe we'll have to wait 'til January to see how it's gonna play out. That seems like forever away.

"I gotta worry once for myself, and once for your mother."

*sighs*

Is it even possible to love Keith more?

I'm right there with you. It's months away, God, why did Moira have to be pregnant, LOL? I sure hope we'll get some spoilers before then.

YES. I did tonight.

- Crystal - 11-19-2003 09:09 AM

Oh, God, I hear ya about the spoilers. Early on I hadn't checked the spoilers for this show, but that changed very quickly when I got so invested, lmfao.

LunaLeo 11-21-2003 03:01 PM

Keith was on the bottom. I put him on top!

LOL Being invested it hard! It's too late to turn back now.

Hmmm.. shallow thoughts about Keith/Craig. I really dig voices - mainly deep, gravely ones. I definetly think he qualifies. Has he narrated any books-on -tape???

LoveHeals 11-21-2003 03:08 PM

Is it possible to love Keith any more, you ask?

Yes. It is. I adore how he adores Karen, and I adore how he looks over Lucas, once for himself and once for Karen. He's perfect.

I do him.

Mind reader much? Heh. A few days I ago I made that *exact* comment on my blog, lmfao:

...and Craig Sheffer is just flat out hot. Love his voice. I think it is even more soothing than JWS' is. I'd totally stop buying real books and go for books on tape if he was the one reading them, lol.
Heh! I love that I'm not the only one that noticed how great his voice is. Love it and could listen to it all day long, lol.

Yes, I suggest we contact his representatives and persuade them to make Craig record a audio version of famous love poems. lmao Good nighttime listening

- Crystal - 11-22-2003 04:01 AM

Hee! I think that would be a good idea. Perhaps he could read college textbooks too, lmfao, it'd sure make reading for those classes more bearable. Heh.

- Crystal - 11-24-2003 03:34 PM

I opened Some Kind of Wonderful, the fanlisting and movie screencap site for Craig Sheffer.

Just thought I'd let you all know in case you're interested.

JulieB 11-24-2003 04:15 PM

Crystal, the site rocks! I love it and can't wait to see more. Craig is just so very deserving too and has been for so long.

LunaLeo 11-24-2003 04:21 PM

Crystal, this is awesome! I come on board and this is the first post I see. I love that there is a place for Craig screencaps. Great job

I just joined Yay!

- Crystal - 11-24-2003 04:24 PM

Thanks, Julie!

And I completely agree about the deserving part...I was just so appalled at the lack of webstuff dedicated to him that I went ahead and started a little something up. It's not much, but it's better than nothing, lmfao.

ETA:

Aww, thanks for joining LunaLeo. And I'm certain I'll add more caps over the Thanksgiving break, lol.

I remember people cmmenting on how nice Keith/Craig was built. Well I was searching on ebay and found a pic of Craig. It said it was a nude and he was nude, but it was side view (no frontal, not pornographic) and very tasteful. He was ripped. He looked younger and had longer hair. If you want to search for it, you can.

JulieB 11-25-2003 12:44 AM

I agree Crystal, there's nothing out there on Craig which is a shame. So glad you started this fanlisting/site.

edited to say while I was over at IMDB checking out Craig's list again I had completely forgotten about That was Then...This is Now. It's been awhile since I've seen it but it's another great early one. Although it's another one that has Craig overshadowed once again by another well known, Emilio. This, I thought was also very much Craig's movie, at the heart of it anyway. And it's by S.E. Hinton, the author of The Outsiders. Craig and Emilio play best friends on separate different paths.

I noticed you had it listed as coming soon on your site Crystal, have you already seen it?

[ 11-25-2003: Message edited JulieB ]

- Crystal - 11-25-2003 05:58 AM

Yeah, azzro, when I saw the listing, being the little eBay addict I am, heh, I just *assumed* it was probably a screenshot from Fire on the Amazon, where he did full side nudity, so I never ventured into look until you mentioned it here, lol. That looked more like an art print or something...but you're completely right about it still showing his nice build.

No, Julie, I haven't seen it yet...at least I don't think I have, lol, but it's in that order that is *supposed* to be in the mail somewhere. So much for thinking Barnes & Noble could ever be faster than Amazon. Blah.

The fanlisting is looking awesome Crystal. I'll be joining as soon as I can. And such a nice wallpaper. He looks so young there.

Man, all these talks about his movies make me want to see them so bad. I can't wait for the holiday break to arrive.

azzro 11-25-2003 04:18 PM

speaking of craig movies, just saw turbulence 2 last night. I love craig, but what an awful movie. My fave Craig movies are Fire with Fire, SKOW, Nightbreed and River Runs Through It.
