DAN ASKS NATHAN TO ANNUL HIS MARRIAGE TO HALEY - Nathan (James Lafferty) is released from the hospital and returns home to a pile of unpaid bills and an eviction notice. Lucas (Chad Michael Murray), Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) throw a fundraiser at the River Court to raise money, but Dan (Paul Johansson) is the one that comes to Nathan's rescue. However, his gift comes with strings - he wants Nathan to ask Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) for an annulment. Barbara Alyn Woods, Craig Sheffer, Barry Corbin, Moira Kelly also star. Bethany Rooney directed the episode written by Jennifer Cecil (#221).

I'm excited for this episode. In the trailer Dan kisses Karen, WTF!? I like the idea of DK but still. I'm not sure how I want this whole NH thing to play out, I'm not really a shipper or disser of the couple. Their just...NH. Considering that Lucas, Brooke and Peyton will probably be together most the episode, I'm ready for drama. That's okay, I'm a drama whore. I hope Nathan doesn't move in with Dan, but then again, Lucas and Nathan would be living together and that is very intriging!

hey guys. well this is my first time posting on here so yeah. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR OTH! AHHH! its gonna be awesome. i hope i wont be completely lost because i missed it last week. because i was at my grandma's and she has no tv. POO! but yeah. ummm well i cant wait! im so excited. hopefully haley does come back no matter what Nathan said.(my friend gave me a recap of last week's eppie.) lol.

This episode was boring, but I expected that seeing as it was sandwiched between two amazing episodes (provided that the season finale will rock as much as I assume it will). I liked Peyton and Nathan, but he's married. Annullment or not. Whether she did or didn't, Haley couldn't have signed the annulment papers. That's what I'm sticking to, even if it's just a fantasy.
Lucas and Brooke made me cry at the end. Those eyes of Chad's, all teary, I lost it.

Poor Haley. She messed up her marriage, but everytime she makes an honest attempt to fix it, it gets screwed over by outside forces. Dan. Nathan's wacko dream. I just feel really bad for her. They're trying to make part of me hate her, and while there's a teeny part that resents her, I can't hate her. I feel sorry for her. Really, really sorry.

Nathan committing suicide would be a cool story for them to explore. I mean, honestly tryign (and failing), not just the car crash thing. They hinted at that with him and Lucas and I just think that that would show Natahn hitting rock bottom. He could go, get help, and we could be done with half this drama that's plaguing his life.

I think Dan put the money into a college fund for Lucas sincerely for college. But maybe...maybe the college money and the ceiling money are something different. I want to know what's really going on, though. As much as I hate Lucas going against Nathan's wishes and telling Andy to continue looking (inevitably creating some Nathan and Lucas drama), that story's not done. I see why he said yes.

What about Lucas's medication, though? He was staying with Dan so he could pay for the meds and now he's left. Is he telling his mom or dying? Both would be interesting.


I can't wait until next week. Can't can't can't!!! It's going to be so great. I can't wait for the inevitable cliffhanger! I know, I'm a freak, looking forward to the cliffhanger, but it's going to be something great and I have no patience I just want to know now! I wish every day was Tuesday.

Wow, just wow. What a great episode!

Nathan/Haley -- Okay, seriously, these two need to grow up. Stop having Dan, or Deb, or whoever it is next week making your decisions! It's your life! I hope Haley doesn't give up. This relationship has been so one sided lately, Nathan doing all the working trying to get their relationship together. Let's see Haley fight some.

Karen/Keith -- Keith has to be the most boring character on television. So sad to say, I hope he stays wherever he is.

Andy/Lucas -- I love them. I hope Andy sticks around, he is awesome eye candy!

Deb/Nathan -- Aw, they are so heartbreaking. James did an awesome job in the scene where he was talking to Deb on the phone. You didn't get to see Deb in that scene, but James did such a great job playing off of someone that wasn't even there!

Brooke/Lucas -- Their final scene was so tragic. He was so hurt by her words. Whenever Brooke picked up the phone to ask Lucas out, I was like, "No, it can't be that easy. They have to drag this out..." And sure enough they did! But in the end I'm glad because it just makes the sexual tension even greater!

Peyton -- Wow, Hil! Way to go! You totally impressed me this week. Hil just showing such growth in this role. *sigh* Hil, I'm just so proud of you!

Dan/Nathan -- Paul, was in a word, amazing. He's so dimensional. One minute I'm bawling because I feel so sorry for him, the next minute I'm screaming at my television screen!

Worst episode all year!!!! I am so upset right now its not even funny. I knew by the WB and Trl interview that it wasn't going to be good, especially for n/h fans like myself. Next weeks episode better be alot better or its going to be a rotten beginning of summer. I had my last class today I'm supposed to be happy!

I think the car crash did something to Nathans head and I hope he comes to his senses. And Haley too, she should have left the tour by now.

I'm liking the B/L though. Thats about it ..lol

Well, it better be something great. I hated this episode, basically. I've been waiting so long for a scene of Haley missing Nathan, one of her admitting her mistake was leaving, and realizing what's important and getting ready to quit. And Nathan's fought this so hard, and now some bizzare dream is making him decide loving her isn't enough? Does he really think that will work? And he gave up because his mom was so sure they could make the family work and next week we have a clip of her saying DAn can rot in hell? And what about Haley/Chris? That is way too easy (plot wise). God. I'm still holding out hope for some sort of Haley/Nathan confrontation, or at LEAST something to do with them in the cliffhanger. I nearly drove myself crazy between the last two weeks, I can't imagine myself over the whole summer waiting for this. IT better be one hell of a finale, and it had better do something to make up for a majority of crappy episodes. Last week's was good for a change, but tonight sucked.

I thought that this episode was really good because it set up up for so much more. I can say that my heart is officially breaking. I have become so invested in the nathan/haley relationship (okay...i do know that this is not real life but isn't an escape from real life allowed?) We KNOW that Dan had to have forged Nathan's signature. if not...WOW...Nathan really took the coward's way out. I cannot wait to learn more about what she has been thinking and WHY didn't she call Nathan!!! Oh yeah...its television.

Nathan is feeling pain and guilt for what his mother is going through. Walking away from his marriage will not solve her problems. Hopefully, he will learn that she is responsible for her own choices. Haley is responsible for hers and so is he. It is how you deal with your mistakes that makes you strong.

I loved Lucas still going after Dan. Def not enough Dan in this episode...love him...hate him!!! lol

Brooke/Lucas.....i cannot quite get myself invested in this relationship yet.

In a warped way, I am looking forward to Lucas walking in on Haley. Since WB ALWAYs misleads us, I think that this will be in the beginning of the ep giving Lucas and Haley a chance to talk about what has happened. THEN hopefully we will hear what is happening with Haley. bye bye chris!!!

BTW...Nathan. Yes, Haley has made mistakes. But, it also seems like he has been doing all the right things for the wrong reasons. Dreams can be achieved together and he cannot fix his parents' marriage.

Did I tell you that my heart is breaking??????? I hope that there is a light at the end of this season's tunnel and that the writers are going to put a smile on my face. It seems as if in the last few eps, we have really been able to see how much they love eachother. Only, right now it seems as if it is Nathan walking away and not Haley. hopefully....lucas to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!

Ultimately, it seems that I am sad at the end of every episode. I don't want to feel depressed watching a tv show. I want it to pick up me. Unfortunately, I can watch the news if I want to feel sad.
