I'm tempted to start up a petitio entitled. "Who holds a grudge against Channel 9" I hope that Ch9 haven't cancelled The OC, I've heard that it may return to a later timeslot in the New Year |

Don't worry about the banner, it'll come up eventually. Stupid VillagePhotos! I get TV Week pretty much every Monday, so hopefully I'll be able to tell you guys if the OC is coming back on the 8th in the next few days . __________________

Thanks Illuzions for letting us know what the tv week guide says in a few days. I certainly hope The Age was right in it coming back on after christmas... really getting sick of being jerked around by nine network.

I the new thread title.
I can't believe that Ch9 is the number one tv station again this year. So far the only decent thing they've done is bring Smallville and Gilmore Girls back and that probably won't last long . __________________

I was thinking (shock horror)
To the networks, isnt the 18-35 yo or around that (cant remember exact one) the most important demographic? Well to me when you look at the shows that the channels have available to them - Channel Nine would have the most that are aimed specifically to that demographic - Gilmore Girls, Smallville, The O.C, Everwood, Joan or Arcadia, etc but they do BLOODY NOTHING with them!!! Hello Programmer, it's not that hard to work out that if you actually want that demographic, you actually show the bloody program... I've calmed down Seriously though - it's that bloody simple, why cant certain people work it out! Oh btw, thanks for opening the new thread Thierry Sara __________________

Hey,
Im glad u guyz like the title I feel quite passionate about it LOL. No seriously, someone (us) needs to bring Channel 9 down!! It's a crime how they treat good shows like The O.C. and pretty soon GG & Smallville. If only there was a "TV Station Crimes Against Good TV Shows Court" or somethin hehe...im pretty sure the lawyers of Channel 9 will be spending A LOT of time there...ahahaha. Thierry |

channel 7 & 9 have shows that are targeted at all different demographics, and are thus more typical to take a show off quickly without giving it a chance, especially during a non ratings period, cos they will always have a crappier show to put on in its place, that may get more people to tune in, if the show were on channel 10, it would prob be given more of a chance, cos 10 concentrate more on shows for younger people... although summer isnt an 'official' ratings period, the networks still need to rely on people tuning in, so advertisers will cough up the cash for the advertising blocks during the show.. erm, that rave turned out longer than i expected __________________

the thread title.
I wonder if channel nine realise the sort of reputation that they have? I am betting that they would be shocked if they could read some of the comments that people are making here. Can't believe that there is still no word yet as to when we are going to be seeing this show again. __________________
