I liked the scene with Kimmy/DJ talking to max at the end about their friendship and how they met on the bus. and how its ok to be unique. skipping a grade is a big deal to begin with but dressing differently and being super smart like max just makes things more difficult. but im glad kimmy was able to help him realize its ok to be who he is. I didnt like him dressing/acting like Matt

I'm glad we got some backstory about how DJ and Kimmy met.

I'm picturing first day of middle school issues kind of repeating themselves with Max and how DJ was dealing with it in the '90's.

I'm so happy Max was being himself again. Being like Matt in that way is really not him.

This episode was okay. I'm not sure about some of the bits they are doing in the final episodes lol. Ramona and the contest eating was kind of lame.

I did like seeing Max deal with bullying at school and trying to figure out who he is. I love the message that he can be "Weird" and quirky and not having to change for anyone just because its different.

I kind of liked the eating contest it was funny. I am glad steph to not be embarrassed, I also have anxiety about eating a lot of food in front of people sometimes so it was relatable. Max did remind me of Dj when she started junior high and ate lunch in the phone booth and dressed up as Jessica rabbit to fit in. I wish she told that story but the story how Dj and kimmy met was sweet

I thought DJ & Kimmy met because they were neighbors.

I’m glad Max stayed true to himself, but I kinda liked it when he was dressed the other way.

The thing that confused about Ramona freaking out before the eating contest, her boyfriend came there to support her. He wasn't there to be like, 'eh!' I understand what the writers were trying to do, address gender bias, but it kind of fell short a bit.
