Destined to Be

I really wish the writers had continued with Michelle's story. They are a plenty of sitcoms that wrote for characters that weren't shown on screen. Off the top of my head, Frasier had Maris and The Nanny had Morty (though they casted an actor in the final season for two episodes). Instead of pointing out that the Olsen twins weren't coming back we could have heard about how Michelle had visited. There could have been text messages, emails, and video chats that never work (with a joke inserted in). We know nothing about her except she's started a Fashion empire. I saw a comment where someone pointed out why didn't Michelle make the wedding dresses for the girls. I feel like there were a lot opportunities to show that Michelle was still close with the family with actually having to see her. Heck, Teddy could have shown up as her husband. I will never understand why the writers didn't try.

If they did that and then one of them had agreed to appear, it wouldn't have been as easy to write her in, because she'd have to fit into certain parameters. Keeping it vague worked better.

I did like how the twins running a fashion empire IRL was written into the show though

think she was just busy at work running it on the show fictionally and IRL

Plus it was mentioned that family members would visit her on Holidays we wouldn't see them
