A real legitimate clothing line and designers are actually entering the gates of polyester blouses and Kohl's endless inventory of "It's Rose O' Clock" tattered shirts. The partnership was announced earlier this year, but Kohl's will be soon rolling out pieces for the holiday season this year.
As someone who has purchased many E&J pieces and as someone who works at Kohl's I am truly befuddled at this. The department store lately has been trying to brand itself as one stop shop for the sophisticated set, including a line with Nine West and a "curated" collection to appeal to the younger millennial set. However this also includes leasing store space to Aldi and Planet Fitness and trying see whatever **** sticks. It looks like the twins will have a hand in the some of the branding when Kohl's becomes E&J's exclusive retailer, but the retailer will sort of spearhead the collections. As for the price point... there's some accessories on sale and a couple of dresses around $60, so it looks like their prices will be slashed in order to comply with "Why Won't Take My Expired Coupon?" Set. You can still get the fragrances at other retailers, but no more Nordstrom and Bloomingdales for the clothes |
