Hi everyone. Twice a year, sometime during the months of April and October, we’ll be doing official post counts to ensure that the message boards here at Fan Forum are busy and thriving. We’ve established a minimum sustained post count requirement of 100 posts per board per week for message boards to remain here at Fan Forum, and we’ll be “unofficially” checking the boards periodically to see where we stand. Certain message boards have been exempted from being subject to post count requirements either due to their unique nature or because they’re less than six months old, and you can check with one of your board moderators to see if the message board that you post on is on this exempt list.

Try to think of posting on your board as voting for your board. Just like television shows have ratings that determine whether they’re popular or not, the number of posts on a message board can determine the same thing. We want everyone's favorite message boards to remain here at Fan Forum, so we encourage every member to post on their favorite message boards as often as they can. Thanks!

Okay, here are the results of the post count during April. The number is the average post count per week and not an individual week.

The boards without at least 100 posts (except for the boards on the exempt list - here the Beatles board) will be closed down by the end of May.

An inofficial post count was made the week from July 4 to July 11 and these are the results of the music category. As you can see we haven't met the 100 posts per week, so we need more posts or the board will close after the official post count in October.

Hmm...can't say I'm all that surprised. But we can't lose this board!

I just guess everyone is superbusy. I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't pouring out like poodles! If it wasnt' for the fact I dont' feel like driving in this weather (supposed to get storms) I'd be at the gym right now :tongue:

It's funny though. All the weeks before, we were posting much more than usual and then, last week, when the post count was made, we were very quiet.

But I can only say that it's summer and some people aren't here that often anymore and that I was hardly here because of some personal problems, but I already got a few persons, who want to come here.
