Gossip Girl S&S#1680: Who's next for Blair to bodyslam?
 Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed. Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. Ausiello scoops: - Sam Page from 'Mad Men' will play Serena's professor/possible love interest starting in 4.04. - Dan and Serena will be spending lots of time together, but they aren't together. - Katie Cassidy will be playing Nate's Columbia student love interest, who is not who she appears and will make trouble for several UESers. - Clémence Poésy (Fleur Delacour) has been cast as Eva. - Chuck does not have amnesia, but Nate does have a new love interest. - Chuck and Blair are not now, and basically never will be, over. - Leighton, Blake, and Ed will all film in Paris. Ed might not actually be Chuck in the present, though. Flashbacks or dreams are possible. - Dan and Serena have been reactivated, and sorting through that will be part of a larger story. - Now that Mercy has been canceled, they may be working to incorporate Georgina into more of next season. - Taylor Momsen is NOT LEAVING the show. She will only be gone a few episodes. Interviews: - According to SpoilerTV Eva sticks around for at least three episodes. - According to TV Guide, Connor Paolo will have more screentime next season to make up for the absence of Jenny. Boyfriend will be involved. - According to Vulture, Chuck/Blair/Serena will film the first two episodes in Paris. There will be some kind of mystery that needs to be solved and a mysterious appearance by someone from home. Paris will greatly affect the direction of season 4. - According to Billy Baldwin, there will be a heartbreaking ending to Dr. vdW's story, but there is also a potential for him to return. - Stephanie Savage says that they will be introducing a major new character in season 4. After reading some of the last thread I just have to say the writers are nuts if they actually think the show will continue for 2 more seasons without CB together until the very end. No offense but this show can't carry its own weight with CB, there's no way in HELL it can do it without CB. If I don't have some clear intention that CB will be together at this end of this season or beginning of next, then I'm done --- I did that once with OTH (BL), I will not do it again. __________________

Why don't they understand that, given how popular CB still are, the viewers want to see some of the honeymoon period? Why do we always get stuff in the finale? Give us a few episodes of them just dating and having fun and being all couple-y! Also, I wouldn't actually mind seeing Blair moving on with some other guy in the middle of the season. Would go further towards restoring the balance in this relationship. |

This title needs more exclamation points!
Tbh the ratings don't have anything to do with CB. The decline in ratings mirrors the decline in overall quality for the most part. ETA: And this show will go on for at least another season because the CW doesn't have much going for it. __________________

They're called cliffhangers.
Ppl have to hope for things when they tune back in... Hence CB separate or reunite in the very last episode...sometimes both Anyway, about C if he truly is mad at B and tries to get even I would be forced to see it as a double regression. Not only is he hurting Blair again which he was runing away from in the premiere and which is incredibly hypocritical after everything he's done. But he couldn't resist the temptation to hurt his significant other once again. Not that I care about the angel slash ho but it means he hasn't learned much from last year and it's bad when you symbolically died over your mistakes... __________________
