This clip of the Bay & Garrett sneak peek has an extra 25 seconds. It appears that Player Garrett considers himself limber.
I've seen people on Twitter and Facebook expressing fear that Garrett will hurt Bay. As long as Garrett is just a player, and not a criminal, I don't think Bay has anything to fear. Considering Bay survived losing Emmett, Garrett should be a cakewalk. She knows he is a player. She's not going to get hurt. I'm excited to see Bay navigate life with her new-found confidence. I'm happy for her. https://www.facebook.com/SwitchedatBirthFans?fref=nf __________________

Saw an interview of Vanessa Marano and she said the fans would find out if Travis gets his heart broken or not in the finale. Bay has made herself pretty clear on how she views Travis. She sees him as a friend, same way she viewed Tank.

I searched for the interview online and found it just now: Based on what Vanessa Marano says, I think she will shut down Travis pretty quickly. It makes sense storyline-wise, too, because Bay already went through trying to turn a friendship into something more with Tank, and her character had to have learned from that experience to not attempt it. I'd love to see someone else be there for Travis to help him pick up the pieces, if Bay does reject him. Not Mary Beth, maybe Daphne, though. Or maybe someone new. Iris and Travis could be adorable together. I am not sure Emmett will offer Bay another relationship in the Season Finale. I see Emmett as more wanting Bay to hold open a chance for something one day, but not now. And even if Emmett does offer Bay a relationship right now, I see Bay as wanting to hold open a chance for something one day, too. I don't think Bay will jump at a relationship with Emmett yet, because the timing doesn't feel right. She needs to complete building her own life, before she is ready for that level of commitment. But who knows? The writers could put them back together solid. Anything is possible. __________________

Bay cared about Tank, she really did like him but she only wanted friendship with him, she felt guilty for hurting his feelings and then she got hurt with her hand and she liked the attention Tank was throwing her way, so she went for it. However she's grown to realize, she didn't exactly regret Tank but she regretted the choices she made with him. So if Bay learned anything, she'll set Travis straight. If she doesn't, then she hasn't learned anything and goes into yet another relationship where she's settling.

What do you believe will happen with Toby & Lily? Do you think they'll stay a couple for Season 5, or will they split? How about Daphne? Will she stay with Mingo or will she jump to another relationship? __________________

I think Daphne is going to mess things up with Mingo, too. I'm wondering if Daphne will be quitting her pre-med program to build schools with Quinn. Could that be what has Bay angry at Daphne in the next episode? Or is Bay just angry because Daphne kept Regina's secret about Hope? After tonight's episode, I do not believe Bay goes to LA in the Season Finale. I believe her art show is in Kansas City, and the SAB crew just filmed it in Chinatown. I think Emmett will be home for the summer. In the preview, I saw Emmett looking at Bay's art, while Kathryn walks through the gallery appearing upset. Then, Emmett approaches Bay after the show. Here's the preview, including scenes for the next two episodes: Here are episode synopses for the next two episodes, too: Scoop: SWITCHED AT BIRTH on ABC FAMILY - Monday, October 19, 2015 Bay and Daphne are both caught unaware at Lily’s baby shower in an all-new episode of “Switched at Birth,” airing Monday, October 19, 2015 at 8:00PM ET/PT on ABC Family. Scoop: SWITCHED AT BIRTH on ABC FAMILY - Monday, October 26, 2015 Bay has her first art showing while Daphne applies for an international internship in the fourth season finale of “Switched at Birth,” airing Monday, October 26, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family. ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016. __________________

Finally!!! someone who didn't immediately fall in love with Daphne. They had to make him gay but I suppose it is a baby step for the writers.
No surprise how they they portrayed adult entertainment. If they don't want to deal with tough issues appropriately then I wish they would not write about them. I can't believe there are only two episodes to go, I feel apart from the Mexican episode nothing significant has happened. I really think they are struggling for storyline. |

Lizzy Weiss did say the finale would be a big episode and Vanessa also said fans would find out if Travis got his heart broken or not. I personally hope she sets Travis straight. She needs to deal with this head on and not back away because she doesn't want to hurt him. Sometimes you have to do that because being with him when you really don't want to be is only going to hurt him more.

What's the appropriate way to deal with adult entertainment? I like how the writers presented it. It is a realistic representation of how it is in one of a community's better establishments. As for nothing significant happening, Switched at Birth is not a plot-driven show. It is character-driven instead. That's not a flaw. It's just a difference. The writers are not struggling for storyline. The writers are not focused on it at all. That's not what is driving the show. Instead of plot-driven events causing the characters to respond, the characters’ shortcomings and idiosyncrasies slowly but surely cause the events. That's why Regina is where she is, at this moment. Same for Daphne and Bay. Same for John and Kathryn. Character-driven stories focus more on inner conflict and relationships between characters. The main characters' goals are internal (i.e., overcoming grief and learning to live again, mending a broken relationship, coping with personal shortcomings, etc.) I really wish Emmett had a big character-driven story again. He hasn't since Episode 1x22. That was 69 episodes ago. Sean Berdy plays inner conflict better than any actor on that show, and that's high praise, because there are several excellent actors working alongside him. __________________

I don't see Bemmett in the finale. Even if Emmett turned around and realised he still loved her and told her...most women after what happened would initially tell him where to go. He hurt her. They hurt each other. It was different last time, as the breakup was born out of cheating without feelings changing. Emmett was still trying to get her back. This time there was a real finality and they'd need to slowly rebuild on that broken trust, pain and distance. Yes, they started by getting over the anger...but they have a long way to go before getting back into a relationship, so I definitely do not see a reunion in the finale. It may see one of them realise they wanted the other back (most likely Emmett), but ultimately being rejected and next season being about them trying to build back what they had through friendship, coming between the other (and their partner). And a Bemmett reunion wouldn't leave fans torn. We had that already when Bay cheated on Tank with Emmett. |
