what' their to come out. She admitted that she loves him, but she loves Francis more. She's also repeatedly told him to step off. The writers don't seem to be going for TVD during the Renaissance.

Oh. Is that something people are more accepting of now? I didn't get the new memo. Last time I was here, everyone was splitting hairs about whether or not Mary meant what she said to Catherine.

Anyway, I don't think there's anything more to come out. But I do feel Mary might express (whether intentionally or not) some discomfort with Bash being with someone else and always in such close proximity to her. I'm not saying anything will happen, because yes she loves Francis more and is married to him. But, there's still a "triangle" waiting in the wings should be writers get an itch to pick it back up.

Bash/Kenna could take off. I mean, sometimes plans shift. Maybe they'll do a quadrangle or two power couples....we'll see.

I can't speak for other people (and seriously with the sarcasm). While I though the show did an awful job showing she had feelings for Bash, she still said the words. But, she also indicated that of the two she loves Francis more. Then backed that up by telling him to move on. I just don't think this show was ever meant to be a series long triangle.

I think the back off also shows you plan shifts. Triangle was planned for first 13 and the back half seems to be implying a move away from it. Frankly, I think its refreshing.

Also, would like to point out to anyone thinking that Bash is a possibility for Mary after Francis dies, with this Laurie just closed the damn door on that. Mary is a catholic queen, Bash cannot divorce his wife. She can't marry someone who is divorced. The ONLY WAY it ever can happen is for Kenna to die. So I guess that's two deaths to wish for!

You could be right about that, and congrats to the show if it managed to pull off the world's shortest TV triangle, ever. But this is on the CW, so I doubt it's done. Like someone else said, this might just turn into some weird quad. But then again, it could just be done like that and Bash moves on while holding a torch of unrequited love for Mary, as her love for him does not match his for her.

I hope Bash and Kenna don't take off. I want him to find love, but it's oh so convenient that it would happen with one of Mary's LIW.

You're missing the point. Catherine is a manipulator. I'm not saying her heart aches for Greer. But Greer is an extremely wealthy Scot with a close tie to Mary and to Catherine she's a chess piece.

So no, Catherine doesn't 'care' as in shed tears care, but she'll care enough to manipulate Greer's situation to suit France and her boys, if that was needed.

I'm a Frary shipper, but I accept that Mary would have feelings about Bash and Kenna. She did love him and she did think he would be somewhere far away. It's good drama too for everyone so I understand why the writers did it that way. The challenge now would be how would the couples cope with this and I'm excited for that.

No I got the point I just dont agree with it... Greer in fact doesnt have much stance or wealth at all in Scotland, which is why she is so determined to marry someone of stature... Her or her family would have NO influence on France and the royals at all...
So although yeah sure Catherine would use Greer as her pawn to do her dirty work, it has nothing to do with Greer's position, or lack there of..
