Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) are surprised when Donna (guest star Tori Spelling) shows up at their door, straight off a plane from Japan. Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) decide to spend their spring break on a road trip to visit someone from Dixon's past, while Ethan (Dustin Milligan) decides to step out of his bubble and volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) joins the Habitat build after learning that Liam (Matt Lanter) is also attending, but is clearly out of her comfort zone. While Kelly and Donna are dining on sushi, Diablo Cody (guest starring as herself) convinces Donna to design a dress for her for a red carpet event.

Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds) continue to deal with her recovery, while Liam (Matt Lanter) and Ethan’s (Dustin Milligan) unlikely friendship continues to develop. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) mend their broken friendship but when a scandal involving Naomi’s dad erupts, Naomi’s trust in Annie disappears. + Forget Ty and Ethan, there’s a new dude who will catch the eye of Annie and Naomi, coming to 90210. Word is, he likes them too and will openly date both ladies, creating a rivalry the likes of which we may have seen before [sides for this character].
+ This season's 19th episode (airing in April) will be must-see-worthy for two reasons: It marks Tori Spelling's return as Donna and features the arrival of Dixon's estranged mother.

+ There will be some crazy things from Ryan's past revealed in upcoming episodes. There is a possibility that Ryan is not... Ryan! Silver will be diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

+ Rampant trading in gay stereotypes aside, this is an educated guess. But if Ty does come out of the closet, it'll be but one of two interesting storylines currently planned for the character. Remember when he flew Annie to San Francisco for dinner? Well, his talent for chivalry doesn't stop there, as Adrianna will soon discover.

Why does 90210 pay so much attention to Naomi? I’m much more interested in Silver and Annie’s stories. — Emily
MICKEY: I don’t know, Emily; I think the storylines have been pretty balanced so far, with the possible exception of far too little Jessica Walter (hic). That said, my West Bev moles do seem to be Naomi-focused of late. For example, if you are a fan of Paula Abdul music videos starring Keanu Reeves and/or the Fast and the Furious movies, you have much to look forward to in 2009.

I still can't understand how in the world Silver develops feelings for Ethan when from the sides she still seemed in love with Dixon, talking about him being patient with her and going to prom for him

does she suddenly develop the feelings the second half of the season finale !!

That's not my theory, that's Brit's and IDK if they'll do it that way but it's possible. They break up start of s.2 they're w/ other people and lingering feelings are still there.

I seriously don't know why I'm surprised at all. Like, bypass all of the billions of legitimate reasons for Silver/Dixon to break up for a bit, to go with a completely contrived ~love triangle that is fueled by backstage politics. SHOCKING. I knew they'd break them up because of a third party crap storyline. Just like any other show. I'm now very excited to see their first scene and just lol at how random it's gonna be.

I guess I should thank God that the writers did the whole BPD crap, so I was already slightly over them before they completely effed them over when I still really loved them. Thanks for soften the blows, writers.

Seriously I would have preferred a love square with Liam/Annie/Naomi/Silver then this random nonsense, because I know they will probable rewrite history when they start hanging out. Probable Ethan realizing he has always been in love with Silver even when he was with Naomi.

No I'm afraid my annoying sense of optimism is overpowering me again. Whatever info we have is not properly guaranteed and we don't know what the explanations will be.

Silver has been the breakout star of 90210 and they aren't going to screw up her character just yet.

They'll prob wait til around season 4. That's how long the writers of OTH waited to screw up Brooke.
