I guess Gothel finally got her revenge on Rapunzel. It's the only reason I can see her saving Lucy. She knew Rapunzel would sacrifice herself to save Drizella.

One less storyline for them to worry about wrapping up by the time they get to the finale.

Only if Josh is finished filming his pilot for Manifest before they wrap Once. That could be why they extended filming until April 4th. I'm sure they will try their best to get as many legacy characters as possible in the series finale.
I've become very invested in the season 7 cast, characters and stories. As long as those are properly wrapped up, anything else is just an extra present to unwrap. I guess Snow could return and we could get a throw away line about Charming missing his flight. :lol:

Josh, Ginny and Sean are the ones I wish to see again on OuaT the most and I hope they can find a way for it, but new projects that are their future take priority. But I hope to see the three again for the finale.
