Henry might be able to open portals as the Author. Isaac was able to go from the Jazz Age world where Cruella lived to the Enchanted Forest. That would have saved a lot of effort in the past 2 season finales and getting to Camelot in 5.01 so you would think it would have been mentioned.

The fact that anyone can open a portal to go anywhere makes Rumple's curse idea seem so obsolete.

Well, to be fair, he didn't know about the Author back then. He knew about the silver slipers and the beans, though, and he couldn't steal the slippers from Zelena and there was no more beans for him to use...

And, apparently, he also didn't know the Apprentice could open a portal, or I'm pretty sure he would have tried to make a "deal" with him as Ingrid did.

I don't think they will be AU characters, with no history or connection to each other. What would be the point? This show is about family and AU characters would not be family. they would just be a random group of strangers.

That's what I was thinking as well. Isaac could open portals, so it makes sense that Henry would learn to do so as well. It might not be something he could do right away, but something he had to learn?

I am guessing Henry was not familiar with the author ability in s5. Rumor using the curse to our had become more obsolete especially with the whole pixie flows invention

I would be shocked if we ever see the pixie flower again. It's more for locating people anyway. If you want to go to Arendelle for ice cream it won't really help. Unless you really love ice cream

That would be me ice scream is my one true love but I find it hard that rumple being dark one couldn't see pixie flowers daily and locate bae

What a horrible name for the cursed town. At least Storybrooke sounded catchy.

But as for the title’s obvious “DNA,” Hyperion Avenue was the location of Walt Disney Studios prior to 1939, while Hyperion is the name of Disney’s children’s books imprint. Hyperion was also the name of a powerful Greek titan (the “God of Watchfulness, Wisdom and the Light”), as well as assorted Marvel comic book characters.

I'm curious about the new "world" they'll create. I will miss Storybrooke, but I'm excited for something whole new too.

Actually it doesn't even sound like a town. It sounds more like a sub-division/neighborhood or apartment complex. Which hey if they want to save the budget, why not have them all live in a dirty apartment complex. Ala Regina's quote from Lily.

Well Adam did say casting announcements were arriving soon-ish so I guess it's related to that and the thing about the casting that was posted earlier
