You'd be surprised what a lot of the fandom though. Liking to project their feelings on to JMO regardless of what she thinks.

There are highlights posted on Twitter but she basically says it's up to ABC if the show gets renewed or not.

So she'll sign a new contract when the show is renewed. She knows they can't do the show forever though. So I imagine her new contract will just be for one year.

Yep because, "she hates the show, she hates CS, she hates the writers for ruining Emma for CS, she will never forgive the writers for S5 Dark Swan arc". You know projecting their opinions on to JMO as if she somehow shares them.

I've gotten to like Jen a lot. Well, I like all the cast a lot and will watch them, or try to watch them in other things they do. I think they all love this show and are very fond of each other. So if any of them leave, I think it has more to do with other things and not because they don't like the show or their co-workers.

It does sound like they just don't know yet so they'll have some kind of resolution at the end of the season and then if they don't come back we will at least have an ending but if they do come back they can go from there, if that makes sense.

This interview does definitely suggest that everyone from S1 needs to renew their contract though should they get a S7.

So it’s more about a life decision kind of thing and I don’t even know how to make that life decision until I know what ABC even wants.”

Very interesting. If his words weren't twisted or only part of them were posted, it does sound like RC is done. I don't know what that means for Emilie.

I wonder though, if they do wrap everything up in the Season 6 finale and everyone gets a happy ending or some kind of closure, will people want them to come back for a 7th season and kind of undo that?

I've seen shows do this before. They kind of come to an end but then come back for another season with a bunch of cast members gone and a new type of format, and I don't think it's ever worked out well, lol.

It's never worked out well. See Glee S4 or Scrubs S9.

And more recently Sleep Hallow ratings bombed after they killed off one of their main characters. So it does not work.

They had kind of a format change as well didn't they? I agree with you that it doesn't work if it's too drastic of a change.

One thing is for sure between now and May there's gonna be lots of negotiations going on between ABC and the cast.
