This episode description has me really excited and intrigued. From the description it doesn't sound like King Leopold or Rumple is the father of Zelena (Thank God!). Maybe it's Charming's father or Hook's father. Or maybe her father is some other fairy tale character like Merlin. Also I'm happy to see Belle have an essential role in the episode.

Sounds to me like perhaps Hook's father might be the culprit. A pirate, dishonest man? Pretending to be a prince? I think we have our man... b/c as Citygal just mentioned Charmings mother was given the ring and that was her TL I doubt he would pretend unless he pulled the wool over charmings mother as well... Because giving up your baby seem questionable just to save a farm? We know nothing about Hooks parents.

Hmmm. While it's true we don't know a lot about Charming's dad, what we do know doesn't quite match what seems to have happened with Cora. It would be kinda out of left field if they pulled something like that, at least to me *shrugs* The dad doesn't have to be anyone of significance given Cora setting her sights on Leopold is what presumably makes her give Zelena up - it's not about who the father is, but who he isn't, it seems like.

David De Lautour as Jonathan might be Zelena's father. He also looks like he could be related to Hook or Charming.

Nevermind I just remembered that Adam said we would not be meeting Hook's father this year.

as for charmings dad.. stil find him suspicious - he gives up a kid,

but maybe his encounter with cora was before he met his true love.

I'm liking that Jonathan actor. Austenphile - I agree we may have a new leather club member! Even if his character is an a-hole the leather doesn't discriminate!!!

Aren't we sure that he's "someone" though, and not just a faceless nobody? Didn't a spoiler say Zelena would be related to two major characters in the end? So far she's only related to one by blood (Regina).

I don't have that spoiler handy and I'm manically typing on my phone so I could be remembering wrong...
