In my opinion Tyler abused of his power over Caroline (the power of her loving him) and put her in a position she could have been hurt. Why would he put her and Stefan there and the hybrids to watch over them if he didn't expect the hybrids to threaten Stefan and Caroline in case they left to do something that would come in the middle of Tyler's plans? I co-sign with everyone who said Klaus was abusive towards Caroline last episode. I just don't understand how people don't see anything wrong with what Tyler did on 4x09. Even Caroline said she loves him even when she hates him... so she not only acknowledged he was "bad" towards her, as it seems that doesn't qualify as abuse, but she also dismissed it as if it was nothing. People seem to love to bring the show's context to real life in this thread, so I'll do it myself. If my boyfriend puts me in that position I wouldn't want to see him ever again in my life. But Caroline just gave him an I love you and a kiss. But hey, I don't even care about Forwood (don't like or dislilke) so whatever. Tyler could do whatever about her and I would barely have an opinion about it. I didn't like it back then, but everyone just overlooks it. Okay then. __________________
