Agree with all of this. They'd better not bring the ultimate softie shtick. Writers, if you introduce him as a villain, let him be a villain with continuity...and yeah, he definitely needs to take someone down. I personally didn't like the handling that after he took Aurora's heart he gave it back to Mulan (the group) shortly afterwards, I mean WTF? Why even doing effort on the first hand?

I think Rumple will be using magic based on the new promo

Well, the Writers did say he's "a hero in a villain's body or a villain in a hero's body" and I agree with them that Hook is both: good and bad. He gave back Aurora's heart because of that IMO and also because it didn't serve anymore purpose to him, he already had Cora on his side.
However, I also want Hook to win the fight because I would be glad to see some of his dark side finally come out! I think/hope Hook has enough strength to be a real rival to Rumple

I like i said on my tumblr, i know that i´m gonna get hate from what i am about to say but still, this is a forum so, everybody has to right to give is opinion.

First of all, i´m not against Rumpel or Hook. I like them both but i did said in the other thread, that i´m happy that Rumpel is going to kick Hook´s ass. There´s just one thing that i´m not liking. Are the writers in the next episode really gonna shows us a good Rumpel and a bad Hook? I´m not talking about what Hook is going to do with Belle. I´m talking about Rumpel/Milah/Hook.

First, Rumpel compares his wife (who i don´t like by the way so, no i´m not defending her) to a hand? That´s what he says in one of the vids, right?

Anyway, what i really want to know is, when will we see Rumpel saying that he killed Milah? Like i said, i´m not against Rumpel either but i hope he tells the whole story.

About Regina, i thought she was the baby from Rumpel´s story

Yes thank you that is one of the things that make me mad sometimes when they pimped Hook as being worse than Rumple and as one of the big bands this season that got me interested in the character. I wanted to see where they would go with that I thought that he would be a bad ass who would go after anyone who got in his way who wouldn't be romanticized and maybe redeem .I wanted to see a bad guy who was a bad guy because he liked it and that there would be no sugar-coating of this character and so far I feel let down .

In interviews, the writers often say they don't like evil for the sake of being evil. They are not interested in it. I can understand them. It can work in a movie where you only have 2 hours with a villain. But in a a tv show you have 45 minutes every week! It gets boring in a tv show when the villain acts like a villain in the Disney films.

Lol true but it's still a let down I was hopeful that would be the change they made to Hook to really make have a bad ass villain that was the something new I had hoped we get a bad guy who couldn't and wouldn't be redeem but maybe we will still get that with Hook .

Holy Snow, mother of Emma has this promo been posted? There's a huge spoiler in it in regards of what happenes at the town line (well, we pretty much guessed it but whatever lol) and how Rumple will/can cross the border...

Oh, dear! Yes, very silly! The writers definitely need to show us that Hook is a real threat, lest he ends up looking like a cartoon villain.

The writers have mentioned Hook following a code. So it does make sense to me that he would give Aurora's heart back.
What doesn't make sense is Emma hitting him with the compass, and Hook actually passing out because of it. Seriously, even I would've been able to take that one. lol

I don't need him to be a jacka- to everyone just for the sake of it (there's no 'depth' to that), but I would expect him to take those down who stand in his way. So yeah, he better succeed soon.

MarylouMoriarty: I didn't mind Emma beating Hook because he was obviously being distracted by her "feminity"

However, I also don't want for Gold to win against Hook just with his cane, kind of sounds stupid. I'm almost sure (well I hope so) that he'll use magic ^^

Thanks for posting! I actually didn't think it was such a huge reveal. I'm pretty sure in a previous promo, we saw Gold sprinkling that potion on the cloak he wears over his shoulder before crossing the town line.

What I want to know is who that cloak belongs to and why does he need it to cross the line!!!
