THE THEME THIS SEASON IS... Power struggles, according to Tony Goldwyn (Fitz). “There's been a real reconfiguration of the power dynamic in 'Scandal.'” WHERE WE LEFT OFF: The season finale (figuratively) blew up the White House, with Fitz and Olivia (Kerry Washington) finally getting back together, and Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) kicked out for their actions in covering up the murder of the jurors in the B-613 case. WHAT'S COMING UP: Olivia and Fitz might be reunited, but of course things aren’t going to go smoothly. “They're magic together, but not so much when they step outside the bubble of their affair,” Goldwyn says. “The pressures are very, very rough.” FAMILY MATTERS: B-613 is shut down, and Rowan (Joe Morton) is in prison for embezzlement. But Papa Pope’s shadow will always loom over Olivia. “Rowan's not dead. You know what I'm saying?” Goldwyn says with a laugh. “Rowan is a very formidable character, so I wouldn't count him out.
