I don't get why Gizzie needs to be compared to MerDer. It doesn't mean people are going to suddenly like Gizzie. They're played by two different characters, actors, and people with different chemistry.

No, I'm talking about all around, but the above post is another example of it. I don't need to be justified with MerDer to have an opinion on Gizzie. I don't believe their situations are the same. Callie isn't Addison, and that's a VERY important distinction. Derek definitely isn't George (George is more like Addison, if anything) and Meredith isn't Izzie.

I raed the last 5 pages and all I have to say is...ugghh...
I went to this thraed very often, but now it's just like: Gizzie fans vs. Gizzie-haters and Izzie fans vs. Izzie haters..
I can't quit understand that because this is the spoiler thread and didn't we all wanted to stop being harsh to one another? This isn't funny anymore...It's just like:
"Izzie's a bitch!"
"No she's not, Christina is a bitch!"
"No..Gizzie sucks!"
"It's not like Meredith didn't cheated!"

I know everyone can say what he wants and this is a discussionthread but ...not like this...So, I don't want to be bitchy but I just feel this way. So because I'm a Gizzie fan I'll probably stay at BGL thread until I hear that it's a little nicer here.
Sorry if this sounded harsher then I wanted it to be...but I feel that al lot of others think the same way as me.

I understand your frustration, and not that it's a good thing but it's like that in most of the threads in this board. I used to lurk and post at the LOST thread but things get very out of hand there and people were being mean and anti-ships and that's annoying. The problem is, all ships go here, and post accordingly. Nothing could change that, so the best I can suggest is for you personally to ignore those comments and discuss spoilers

Personally, Christina never gave one eyelash towards george or izzie and her suddenly having a problem with them would have to do more so with the job.

Well I agree with both of you Mavie and Rach.

Here is my wish list, funny as it may sound. We all love GA, right. I personally love all the characters, with their flaws and their strengths. I come here to see if there is anything new coming, not to hear bickering. Can't we just respect the various characters, and those who play them, and not resort to name calling and crucifying. We are all adults here. I can understand discussing opinions of the characters' motivations, etc. But when we start to get mean-spirited, this becomes a dismall place. I understand that anti-appreciation board are no longer welcome at FF, which I approve of. That doesn't mean we can use other boards, like this one to get our rage out. We are only allowed one spoiler board per show, so let's try to get along, and not turn this into a cess pool of hatred.... Please .

Now that I am off my soap box. I would like to thank all of you who do your best to make this a good place to get upcoming news and discussion on them, without being overly critical. My hat's off to you all.

Exactly. Cristina had her own life and problems to deal with so now that Burke is gone they are using Cristina as a tool in Izzie's annoying SL because apparently Shonda just adores Izzie and well, we all should stop and care who she is whining over this week.

Maybe in someway, Christina Makes it personal after learning Hahn choose Izzie over her hence before Crhistina never took a notice to izzie before and this is why izzie is going to go on defense with Christina because really its more about the Job but Christina could be on her about George as a way to say get back at izzie in sort of way. I dont know like I said before Christina usually have her own problems to worry about and since she is still dealing with Burke some of animostly towards burke and izzie are going to come into play together somehow in this episode.
