I don't think B forgave C as much as she just wanted to forget it ever happened because in my eyes it was her lowest point. If she had forgiven him she wouldn't have brought it up all season.

And C was an adult when the IP happened, he was out of high school, old enough to vote, old enough to run a multibillion dollar company and old enough to know right from wrong.

ETA: And just because he's trying to do good this season doesn't mean he wasn't at fault in S3. One doesn't excuse the other. JMOT.

The thing about Serena and Dan is that they've been over for ages.

Serena had feelings for Dan but she did give Blair permission to date him.

This is the same show where Blair breaks up with Nate and then sleeps with his best friend. Then she goes back to Nate then back to Chuck. Both of them best friends.

In season 2, Nate and Chuck are still besties and still involved in a love triangle.

Then both Nate and Dan are pursuing Serena while both are aware that they both have feelings for her.

But Blair kissing Dan after getting permission from Serena is oh-so-low.

Did you miss the part where CHUCK tried to keep her trapped in a marriage she was actively trying to get out of? That's what I am referring to.

This really would be perfect. Wouldn't it be resolved quite quickly though, not giving a long enough story arc for drama purposes? Or would B not believe Dan if he denies anything happened? Especially if S is going crazy and claiming that it did happen?

I don't, but it is quite popular to blame C for everything. Even when it has nothing to do with him, people like to blame him.

Chuck paid for the the mess he and Dan made. Even though Blair is the only responsible one.

that's what I don't get. Wouldn't Dan tell Blair it didn't happen and if S claims that it did to Blair would he let S even near his house???
