I was going to make the same comment. Obviously they both were sober enough to do and enjoy the deed. Dan soldier didn't have a problem staying at attention long enough, so I was more of the belief they had a great buzz

I still have a soft spot for CB's first time, but yes she was drunk. I did find DS to have a sweet first time, but that's because it was first time.
I don't understand why the VDW just can't let Ivy have prada and the money, and just buy a new apartment. They have plenty of money

sooo...then their argument about her only being able to have good sex with Dan is when she's drunk is completely invalid...well whadaya know

lol is this fandom full of 12 year olds? since when was using alcohol as a means to loosen one up and gain confidence such a novel concept?

i fully believe if they were just nice to her, she'd give it all back.

I think the show clearly showed differing levels of Blair's sobriety on 1x7 vs 5x18. I would say Blair was probably 'a bit tipsy' with Chuck, but she's talking to Chuck coherently in the limo...nothing like the 'totally sloshed' she was in the elevator where no one realized no one had pushed the button for like 2 minutes

I have no problem comparing! DS first time was sweet and I enjoyed it. DB first time sucked, but the hot sex scene and alleyway "loving" made up for it big time. So I guess I loved both scenes for what they were.

I just felt like given DB's relationship their sex would be sweeter and sober? It would've been better, for me to enjoy, that they were actually accurately aware and making love versus just ****ing everywhere while they were wasted.

I just see the double standards of some fans saying they enjoy the elevator scene and alleyway yet make fun of CB's sex life.
